[Project] Let's build a TH9 base for the new loot system

As a rich TH9, you are the prime target for TH10 steamrolling.

How to stop it, you might wonder. Well, praying is a valid option, but a strong base can help even more.

Odds are, the TH10s and 9ers will throw their big guns at you when you get your own containers full. So that's either:
A) Hogs
B) Bloons

My guess for the "best bet", a hogvault.

Hogs and bloons would do great against that base.
As a bloonioner I would love to come across that base.
However, I think a farming vault is a great idea.
I will test a few out! :)

Actually, that base got me to 2844, fending off both hogs and bloons. As back then, hogs were much stronger, I still won more defences than I lost ;) Looks can be very deceiving, and your comment did prove that right away :rolleyes:

Was looking at some bases and came across cosmii in crucible wrath. That open concept could be used to turn a base into a very tricky and trap filled hell for troops. Could be made into a strong hog vault.

TH outside, anywhere over 2200 cups... your loot will be ignored, or missed, over 50% of the time. Be sure you don't hide it away where it won't get seen, and don't defend it too much as low-level snipers might skip it fearing a loss. On top of that, the usual anti-hog design is still pretty good, just defend your prime loot more now that your TH isn't central (e.g. I have 2 gold, and DE store, in my core).

My TH9 is sitting around 2350 now, and found loads of TH snipers even though it was offering 350k+ of each and over 2k DE. One was even a TH6, sniping their way to Masters, others have been up to TH9 (some prem, one really well upgraded and also loaded).

The base a I posted toward the end of the old one held steady for 2months from 1600-2600, I'm just laying off it for now because with this new system it bleeds elixir and I kinda need that right now.

BTW I'm 70 trophies away from you, bring it.

Has it gone up against hogs / ballon minions / giant healer. How did it do?
