Are they asking when you started playing or when you create account? If they are asking about account check it from google settings.
Tell them the month and year, you have started playing coc.
- Go to google.com/takeout, sign-in with your existing Google Account and click the Create an Archive button.
- On the next page, click the Edit link against the Google+ circle option and then click the link that says “Transfer your Google+ connections to another account”
- Google will once again require your account password. Sign-in and on the next screen you’ll see your Google Account creation as shown in the above screenshot.
I know you mean well, but please check his post again.
Supercell is the one asking for his account creation date, NOT Google..
Which means SC is asking his Game Account, NOT Google Account. There's no need for SC to know his Google Account creation date..
OP, SC is asking when you started playing that game account, which should be around "Bigger Coffers" achivement.
I can feel the pain of OP. I would have difficulties to find that our for my own account too... I would advice SC to find other solutions for veryfying accounts. Maybe creating questions with player-specific questions each player can set up while creating his account...
Realistically it's the players responsibility to maintain account security so I don't believe Supercell needs to change their procedures at all.
Disagree!
We had several instances (and I had one in my clan) where a player was picking up his account again after a lengthy break and was asked to verify that the account is his own. So no all verification requests are a fault of the player. And while I understand the reason by SC to ask for verification, it should not end up with a loss of an account just because the player did not note his starting day (or month) a long time ago.
