Nope, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying how I'm looking at this very thing, ie, Bonuses. And while you're stressing on points like harmony & upset, I'll suggest to consider the good sides of it as well like an opportunity to prove oneself as a good reliable leader, chance of forming better relationships with clannies etc.

I guess we'll have to wait for this. But indeed there are few important question waiting for answers. Hopefully, we'll have official words on this as well as other important one's as well soon enough.

For I totally understand, even respect, all forms of leadership which effective and good. I mentioned about one approach but never exclaimated it saying it's the only way. In fact, I clearly stated in one of my post that capable leadership finds a way to handle this situation.

You keep stressing on proving oneself to be a good leader for some strange reason. If I’m a leader and my clan mates only cuss me out once in a while, I’ve already proven to be a good leader. I do not need more opportunities to prove myself.

Also, sure it’ll help forming better relationships with FOUR clan mates this time around but upsetting 46 members as well(to prove that I’m a good leader, I didn’t give myself a bonus but that upset me).

If you reread your own posts many of them insinuated that. You keep wanting people whose opinions differ from you to prove they are good leaders or practice good clan management. Clearly you don’t have high opinion of them.

Do you mind highlighting which post/part of it felt insinuated? For I don't believe I did that or even intended too. So, do highlight it and allow me to clarify on it to erode any misunderstanding caused due to it.

And to talk about, saying this/that type of leadership is right or wrong? Well, I clearly didn't do that. I no where has favored one type of leadership over other. I simply been making or trying to make points on why a capable leadership, which can be of many varying style, shouldn't have much troubling handling this task of distributing BONUSES to just selective few individual. I in fact shared one of the possible strategy to do that. And that doesn't mean it's the only way through or like you said to reach Rome. They're definitely other ways available. But expecting leadership to be complete hassle free things sounds unfair and cop out.

Even if you look at it from real life perspective, there's a reason why few of the leaders of the world are praised, worship, idolised over possible 100, 1000 or even millions and some ain't even respected or even considered as a leadership.

Are you sure you can't select someone again? In the list, once you select someone, the "Select" button changes to something like "+80". I thought clicking it again selected that person for an extra reward. But I didn't actually try it since I was doing 1 each

You underestimate the number of adults playing Clash.

Anyway, I do not see the problem. Every CWL there are bonusses to give, so communicate with your clan that whoever does not get a bonus this round, will be on the list for one of the next rounds.

This is a part of leadership, and also an awesome way to see what your clan mates are made of:

In my home clan I am part of the leadership, and I see mostly people saying: give them to the ones that need it most. No one feels entitled. Personally I did not contribute much to the CWL this round, so I do not want a reward either, but I do help with the decision.

The clan I am visiting I was very active in: fought each war, mostly as #3 on the list. Yet I do not expect a reward: they should give it to the people who need it most, and who are active clan members: reward their loyalty. Myself, I am no loyal clan member, I am a visitor. Even though I got co leadership, I will not in anyway try to influence the result. Fun fact is there too, I saw many say they do not need the rewards.

Both the above examples show that the current system does not have to be a problem in well ran clans.

Wouldn’t be great if if we had, say a actual sc employee, who actually knows stuff, someone like a, dunno, a ‘community manger’ or similar, who could give us some actual answers to these kinda questions? Maybe we should start a thread to suggest to have such a person to, dunno maybe ‘ ‘communicate’ with us?

Just curious... are you a leader in your clan? If you are one, how did you distribute the bonuses?
