No one answered because the answer is so obvious. I guess I'll do the honors. Think about it for a minute; You pay because otherwise you can search forever to find a weak base with lots of loot. Paying gold prevents that. Common logic.Quote:

Troops have a random movement algorithm too so basically your entire raiding experience is luck of the draw. So now if you have a bad day at the next button remember its a all chance anyway.
