My 2 Theories!
- Christmas Trees Only Grow On High Level Player's Bases
- Christmas Trees Only Grow On The Left Side of the Screen (Towards Water)
Can Someone Please Prove Me Wrong With A ScreenShot, after all, Pictures or it didn't happen!

(while your at it, Check out the water which is now filled with random trees if you haven't noticed already!)
I found a th5 on global with one on the far side of the water towards the tree. And no I didn't take a picture or random th5s on global so I guess it didn't happen :P but yes it spawns random
so you proved theory 1 sorta wrong with half proof and theory 2 correct at this stageQuote:

Maybe there's like a maximum amount of obstacles on your base before you get a Christmas tree? Like, you have to have less than 20 obstacles before you have a chance of getting a Christmas tree or something.

With all the different places the X-mas trees are spawning, and with all the different level players they are spawning in, I think it's safe to say it is completely randomized.
Im a lvl 117 with over 2.5k donations given each cycle and i still never got a tree
Im not a high level player, And if you see its spawning on the right side not left..
Imo it's all random.:o
