I was not farming them I was farming for other stuff but when I had extra gold i would do 1 or 2

Yes, From lvl 6-8 they all take 2 lvl 5 wall breakers. Lvl 9 walls take 3.

Lvl 9 walls are easy as well seams to me took me to get my lvl 8 walls longer than lvl 9

from 7 to 8 took 2 months because i was lazy.
from 6 to 7 it took 1 month, if i remember it right.

Defenses should be able to be done at any townhall level, I don't think it's too hard keeping all of your builders working at townhall 10. Walls, however, are pretty hard at th 10

It depends on how much gems you buy. The more you buy, the quicker it will be. But if you don't, it might take you forever, maybe months!

i would disagree ;). but i think if you are th 8 and not upgrading it is a great idea took me a month to a month and a half. Scares of would be attackers.
