So in Hay Day there is a system setup that if the leader is inactive for two weeks the game automatically demotes them and replaces them with a coleader.
Darian would this system be coming to Clash as well?

it would be horrible. clash of clans clanmanagement works complete different. think about all those clans where everyone is co leader.
One disadvantage is that if new leader isnt active for 2 weeks or more then he will be demoted and someone gets a leadership if that leader too goes offline for 2 weeks or more then that demotion and promotion will continue.
One advantage is if clan was going well and suddenly leader went inactive for 2 weeks or more then it with be 50% dead clan with co leader active after 2 week it would be 100% active with a new leader.
OP..... You do realize that we have a sub forum devoted to new ideas? Ideas and Features Request is a better place for you to post your idea. https://forum.supercell.com/forumdis...ature-Requests
But honestly this not one I am in favor of at all.....
It might be a nice feature in a game like Hay Day but I seriously don't think this is gonna work here in Clash. We simply don't want a new leader when our current leader is enjoying their vacations. Most successful clans have co leaders who can manage the clan efficiently when the leader is absent for a while. Also there can be a confusion as to which member would get to be the leader after the original one is demoted. This will bring instability to the whole clan.
It would be disasterous in clash:saywhat:
hay day hoods have zero value, no perks. While I heard of one instance of a new hoodie being assigned the reigns and kicking everyone out, it is not exactly devastating, IMO
Even in Hay Day, I think 2 weeks is way too short. IMO, it should be at least a month. A lot of people around the world take two week vacations, and sometimes without internet/mobile access.
And if a similar system were ever to be implemented here, I would hope it would be at least 3 months. As others have said, high level clans are worth much more than HD neighbourhoods, an it should take much more to remove a leader.
It’s actually a horrible system in hay day also, implemented unexpectedly just today, and people are screaming and yelling about it. Some ppl have been kicked from their long built up neighborhoods, when leadership was unexpectedly passed not even to a coleader but to some random guy who just joined their hood yesterday.
I don’t think the op is posting this as a idea, rather as a fear.
