Any guesses for Sunday (and Monday) sneak peeks?

EDIT: Oops! I forgot about the peek we haven't seen yet for selling decorations! Oh, well, feel free to use this thread to list (re-list--we've done this before) your hoped-for tweaks and future features. I'm another farmer who looks forward to new game play features as well as to improvements to relatively new features that have been introduced with much fanfare and then left to languish.

Okay, farmers, we've seen all the things that appeared in the original "I :heart: sneak peeks" graphic with the Strongman.

• New boosters
• Help opportunities for trucks and townies

There's also the new special Power Derby.

We generally get the update on Monday (here in the U.S.) after the Derby ends, so I anticipate another sneak peek on Sunday, and sometimes we have gotten another one on Monday before the update rolls out.

The developers still have something up their sleeves...any ideas?

They may be saving the "best" for last, or saving one peek for all the fabulous fall/Halloween things they have in store for us.

I'm also looking forward to the list of tweaks that come with each update, but don't make the peeks.

I am HOPING beyond hope for...

- a fix to the animals when you wake them individually, the darting off is VERY annoying & risky (accidental tapping on other things)

- a fix of the ‘see visitor’ nonsense, plus other tweaks such as ‘release all finished customers’ and all the not actually completely finished, ‘finished customers’ at the top of the ‘finished’ list, instead of all mixed up.

- the fixing of the direction of the TREES (& coffee and nectar) when you plant them, like they did with the berries.



I would love to see...

- small NH’s no longer being penalised for choosing to play Solo/Small teams. Including being able to achieve all the horseshoes, a variation on things like the Blossom Derby etc

- more ‘old school/farm’ deco.

- the last two Clydesdale Horses

- new Gnomes



I can only dream of...

- my longed for Theme Park...or any completely new gameplay.

- the lag issue being resolved

Yup Smallchange hits it out of the park!

Something new for gameplay would be particularly good to see. A lot of recent changes seem superficial and cosmetic and haven’t added much to overall gameplay.

Love the recent new special Derbys, but some fixes to minor derby glitches and a fair break for small hoods on horseshoe prizes would be nice.

People are pointing out the difference between total number online rather than specific player, but to me, I equate my privacy with not wanting anyone to know when I play. It is anxiety-inducing and a big enough deal to cause me to quit the game.

SweetCherryPie, I'm an introvert so I understand your privacy concerns about not wanting anyone to know when you play. Let's say we have the following scenario: You and I are in the same neighborhood of 20 players. After downloading the new update, you log into game and see "2 of 20 neighbors online" in the chat tab. How do you know the other neighbor is me?

Cherry, as someone who has taken the time to read and learn from your recruitment posts and thoughts on leadership, teamwork etc, I have to say it would be a huge shame for Hayday to lose such a skilled and respected leader because of an ill judged update feature. I totally respect your choice if it comes to that, but continue to question the point of this feature and the decision to not make it optional:(

I did comment elsewhere about it though. It might not make a huge difference in large NH’s but it will in small NH’s, in mid sized it’s not hard to work out who it’s likely to be and to check their farm. The vast majority on the forum have always said ‘no thanks’ to this feature...

I don’t see the advantage in HD. You flag/ask for help, people will help if they’re playing and if they want to. How does it help to know x number of NH players are playing, but don’t want to help? Or for players to feel forced to help?

It just seems drama inducing to me and sadly, it will mean some people stop playing.

I now play solo and this is yet another feature that makes me feel happy about that decision.

I completely agree with this. I’m not in favor of showing the number online.

I personally do not care for the feature, but can see the point. it is a compromise between those who wanted online status to show and those who do not. If you see that there are no one else online, you may not want to put those items in your shop. If half of your hood mates are on, then you might. Me, do not care one way or the other. But a good thought out compromise

Thank you, everyone who has commented on my vent, for your understanding and sharing of perspectives. I wish it was easier for me to just let go and not care... but much of my real life is lived in a glass house of sorts that I have very little control over. It is just one of my quirks to remain incognito online as much as possible.

I will see how it goes for the next month - to see how my nh does with it, see how my anxiety does, and see what the forum response is. I hope that SC will reverse it or make it optional for leaders to choose to show or hide.
