How to cope with the update.

Honestly, like everyone, times are hard for me and my clannies as well. Even one of the most active players I know has decided to go on a self-imposed vacation for the next two weeks in hope that things will get better with time. But, not willing to slog it out in the current environment. Honestly, don't think he will be able to stay away, b/c he is what many of us are, insane. In the good sense mind you. Well, it's really a matter of perspective, but from where I'm standing (I'm actually not standing, as I've just got in after watching a terribly sappy movie that only spirits of a certain nature made endurable) everyone here, including even the doomsayers and unwavering fanboys (that definitely be the spirits talking), are swell.

But back to perspective, because that's what it's all about. From my perspective, not a great time to save, so I'm going to spend my way out of this slump. Not with real money of course, but with gold. Specifically, your gold. Who might the you be? Well, not all of you, but those of you who are TH10s with those nice, shiny, newly updated inferno towers that will probably crush me, but not before I get away with at least one of your blasted storages. And the minute I hit 1 million gold, POOF!, it's going into a wall where there is no chance of ever being recovered.

I want to encourage all TH9's out there to do likewise. Because if you are going to get the smackdown from a bully, you don't want to lay there all bloodied and beaten without the pleasure of having at least thrown a punch, now do you?

So, in closing, or returning to my original thought, suck it up and princess.

And here's a quote for ya, to add some much needed weightiness to my late-night asinine musings:

Oh, and final thought! Why not post your attacks on TH10's here. I would find that tremendously amusing.

The only way i can cope with this new update is with alot of anti-depressants.

Very nice thread Sir! Rarely do we get to see such poetry on the forums lol. :D

About TH10s... I'm currently at 2400 and moving up (I'm TH9). I do find the occasional 500k/500k/3000DE base, but only some of the time do I get it all. I suspect I might just stay up here for a bit after push to try farming. As long as you have an anti-hog base people seem rather reluctant to attack. I log off and yet - nothing. Weird but yeah, that's how it is right now for me.

I came to the exact same conclusion... spend ever penny you make...or else someone will take it away from you...

Eventually supercell will correct this error and we can get back to saving gold for bigger updates... the game was fine the way it was before for most players. I'm also actively looking for a new game.

My guess (total speculation) is supercell got a minority of the early players (TH10 nearly maxed out) complaining about the game and made this change for them. This current setting will make the game cannibalize itself and slowly kill it.

I guess having an anti-hog base key then, or as you said, you are experiencing a really great string of luck.

My decision to pour all my gold into walls came after I lost 3 of 4 gold storages in the first time I can remember in, well, maybe ever haha With only one AD left to upgrade, I'm not going to be put out much by focusing on walls. But mostly, I just want to mess around for a bit until things start to settle around here. So why not at least poke a few eyeballs in the meantime? :p

Not finding many TH10 targets worth attacking at Gold I, so working my way up to Crystal. If hogs smoke me, I'll try your design out. But they'll be revenging me out of spite, since as I said, I will NEVER have more than a million gold on hand ;)

Don't break a shield unless you know you can stay online for a couple of hours - also if you log off for a few mins you will be attacked, so grab ya sudoku to play while waiting for your army to build. (I watch movies and sudoku)

Talk to people in global - some are sitting in niche farming ranges - be prepared to move your cups up or down accordingly.

Believe that it will get better - even if it means some people will quit and we will raid their bases - but loot sux, so let's ride this one out and maybe in a few days if it is still bad we can form a petition for SC to ACTUALLY add more loot by:

- double league bonus
- increasing rate of production for pumps and mines and
- adding some new goblin maps!

I would love to see any TH9 reach at least one of my gold storages

I just take a break and play hayday :p

Are you saying that 4 spells and maxed TH9 troops have no chance of reaching even one of your gold storages? :confused: I wasn't aware that SC made the Death Star available to TH10 in this update :p
