No. Clans will run the strongest roster they can. Sometimes that isn’t the strongest roster they have, if their strongest players cannot be in that war for some reason, but they can go as strong as they can against you.Quote:

To handle engineered base and not to punish new reached townhall
My advice is to gave all players max level of defence and offence and heros according to there townhall only in CWL
Let me explain what i want to say
Like there is a engineered base of th11 and when he play clan war league he will get every possible defence and offence(including heros) and of highest level according to that townhall but his home base will still engineered.
In this way CWL is more of skills as everyone will get every thing equal.
And match making will be easy too.
I know its way too early to gave opinions on CWL..
Yes but let’s say my clan keeps winning each month. Eventually we will advance to a league where we get mismatches correct? Or will we get matched against clans with similar rosters each month? I could see two scenarios - one where my breakdown continues to advance up the tiers facing similar roster breakdowns and one where we start getting progressively more unfair matchups until we can not win for a few months until we drop down a few tiers.Quote:

After that you will move up or down tiers based totally on how well you performed the prior season. War weight means nothing at that point. There would be no advantage, only disadvantage, to keeping an account as an engineered account. That's a great idea but without sounding negative, I think it would be hard to implement and people will complain if they have to set up new bases.Quote:

why would it be silly to not make even more changes to prevent the engineers no one wants in war, having defences is a smart move to me. The more measures to stop future wars ending up like the last is great in my view
millions of other clans will be in the same situation as yours. those will be your matches, most likeley. somewhere in a middle tier.... you will try to be among the best clans at that tier...Quote:

but to be honest: i am the most skilled th8 player myself, most always get 3* against other th8s at first attempt at clan wars. still my th12 account sucks often enough, haha. lower townhall skills just dont mean much, really, the best th12 player is the most skilled coc player, not a random th9 guru...
I’m wondering how the availability of replays will be handled. Will we know who all the clans are in our group in advance? What’s to stop clans from sending people to join opponent clans and copying war bases and then practicing? I’m not looking forward to creating a lot of new war bases. We don’t even have seven slots available!
