Make Clash Great Again.

A list of ways to make this game Great again. This game is stale so maybe you guys are out of ideas. here are a few.

Clans Sizes are too large. 25 man Clans would spread the wealth of the more active players and promote a more competitive community.

Clan Perks should be based on what tier of Clan Games a clan completes the previous games. Having the bonuses locked to only old and established clans goes against promoting new clans. As it is now you feel gimped if you are not in a level 10 and above clan.

In game officer chat. Many things should be said among the clan leaders that sensitive ears should hear. As it now members who are less skilled get blasted in open chat.

Arena Teams. You Q up with a 3 man team. These battles only last 30 minutes. The three man team has a team base they all have been working on to upgrade which is done by items they receive in arena battles. It’s a much larger base then their personal base. Each player has 1 attack on the enemy base and they hope to 100% the base with their combined attacks.

Speed up the upgrade times for TH1-TH9. The curve to be competitive in this game is way too steep in 2018 for new players. I know they have in the past but they need to do it again for lower TH’s

Fix ClaN wars .. Give it purpose. A leaderboard that resets every 6 months would be great. Still keep your total wins but give it purpose. The amounts of CW points earned each war is based on your war weight for that war.

We only need 1 gold mine and 1 Elixire/DE Collector, 1 Farm, 1 Barracks and so on.

Clan Leagues??? Bo idea what you will do with them but I suspect it will be lacking in competitive play.

1. Clans Sizes are too large. - no they are not .. YOU are free to not accept more than 25 people in YOUR clan, if you want, though
2. Clan Perks - we play for years and experienced players are not moving from clan to clan much.
3. In game officer chat. - Band, Kik, WhatsApp, Messenger .. there are plenty of Instant Message apps on the marked to fulfill this wish
4. Arena Teams. - a new game mode. I'm sure the development team has about 50 of those in their suggestion box already. Add this, see if it stands the usual development process tests. (Where is the money, basically)
5. Speed up the upgrade times - This has already been done
6. Fix ClaN wars - the current leaderboard system is flawed. If you want War Leaderboards, Clash of Stats is your friend.
7. We only need 1 gold mine - in Clash of Clans we have the resource extractors spread out to limit the resource loss on all attacks that are less than 100% .. This is not a flaw but a design feature.
8. Clan Leagues- they have talked about this .. why not wait for this play mode to be introduced in the game before bashing it?

As it is now you feel gimped if you are not in a level 10 and above clan. A clan who spent two years getting to level ten should have their perks taken away if they don't get max clan games? It is starting to seem like you just want to start your own clan but nobody is joining you...

My clans use Discord and Line but it would be nice for discussing someone who just requested to join. Then if we accept the recruit wouldn't be able to read what we were saying about him (particularly proposed reasons why he shouldn't join)

Speed up the upgrade times for TH1-TH9. The curve to be competitive in this game is way too steep in 2018 for new players. I know they have in the past but they need to do it again for lower TH’s. They have already done this...by a lot. Just reduced hero upgrade times and the time required for most things in the lab and buildings by up to 50% if I recall correctly. Every town hall level 1-11 was affected.

Fix ClaN wars .. Give it purpose. A leaderboard that resets every 6 months would be great. Still keep your total wins but give it purpose. The amounts of CW points earned each war is based on your war weight for that war. The purpose is to have fun. War win streaks are the indicator of what clans are doing the best. You can see a list of what clans have the highest streaks at cocp.it

We only need 1 gold mine and 1 Elixire/DE Collector, 1 Farm, 1 Barracks and so on. The extra buildings are actually needed to fill out space on the village. Trash buildings are about 60% of the base so removing them, like you suggest, would make it much easier to three star since troops wouldn't have as many buildings to destroy.

Clan Leagues??? Bo idea what you will do with them but I suspect it will be lacking in competitive play. I assume you mean Clan War Leagues...Criticizing something that isn't even out yet...nice. I for one am excited to see what they're about. I bet they'll be something similar to your clan war leader board actually.

Just being able to click once to collect all your mines already makes it easier to collect loot. In the old days you had to click about 17 times to collect everything instead of just 3 times. I have to do that with Call of Duty Heroes. The game would be too easy if only one of each type was needed. We don't need one army camp upgraded so everyone can get 20 more units of army space. That only enables more people to rush and create engineered bases.

blah blah blah... If you want to be higher level in the game spend more money. Otherwise you can wait in line like everyone else. Supercell did a great job keeping those new players and F2P slow behind those pay to win player like me.

Everything is good in game right now, why "blah blah blah" just wait for the next update kkkkkkk?

-Again, you need to provide some sources. Every member in my clan knows about clashofstats.com and cocp.it...that's about 100% in my clan, a far cry from 2%.

Clan size too large? For what? Are you having trouble building a clan? Why exactly would it do what you think it would,
which is building a more active community? Again, this suggestion sounds like "I am having trouble building a clan, so I want there to be changes to make it easier...

This is illogical. What you are proposing seems to indicate the elimination of established clan perks. That is the point of building a clan, to get these perks. You stated some of this in your last post in clan talk forum.

And the collector thing? One collector? Makes zero sense as your suggestion would do nothing to improve the game. How would that "make the game great again"?

Seems to me you aren't active enough to lead a clan and want corporate to do some of the lifting for you.

To the OP, you can’t go anywhere on the Internet and not see “Make (insert anything under the sun) great again”. It’s not cute or original.

sorry its probably more on the lines of 99.98% of players do not use clashofstats or even no about it. On Average clashofstats gets 26,000 monthy visitors (source - 10 second google search). Over the years you OG's may have come to accept and love your third party programs and leagues but its not what most of the clash community experiances.

1. I disagree. In fact, after the clan recruiting system is reformed, I’d say we should have a larger clan capacity.
2. I disagree. Clan perks are based off of long term stats within a clan for a reason.
3. I agree with this one. I’d say it’s a good idea to let co’s and the leader discuss plans relating to other members behind closed doors.
4. Cool concept, and with the right design this one could work well.
5. Not needed. As others have stated, this has already been implemented.
6. The war leagues could solve this problem.
7. Disagreed, the resource system is fine as it is.
8. We don’t know how it will work, so we shouldn’t be judging it before it’s introduced.

Some good ideas, some interesting ideas, and some .... well at least they are ideas.

I will pick two that I disagree with and respond only to those.

Clan sizes are too large. Disagree. On the contrary there are too many tiny clans. There are many good active clashers locked up in clans with 10 or fewer members. There should be a TopCap system for new clans, and a mechanism to merge clans simply. TopCap is a system that gives enlisted men a set number of years to get promoted. Those who fail are denied reenlistment. Applied to CoC a new clan should have 30 days to get to five members, six months to get to ten. Those that fail should be automatically merged with another clan in the same predicament. Leadership falls to the leader with most xp. Co and elder retain rank. Nobody should be stuck in a tiny clan when there are so many benefits to be had in a larger clan.

Clan Perks. You say clan perks but your suggestion revolves around clan games. Again your complaint seems to be big clans have it easy, because they are big. Again I say nobody should be stuck in a tiny clan when there are benefits to being in a bigger clan. See my above suggestion.

Make Clash great again? I say clash has been great for years and is only getting better. The same could apply outside the game.

I strongly disagree on reducing upgrade times! New players are getting to TH8 and 9 way too fast after the previous time reduction. People need time to practice and develop attacking skills, and this time cannot be reduced at all! It is a player-side problem, not an in-game issue. People are failing TH9 attacks more often than before (at least in my clan), and reducing those times would only make it worse.

Besides the in game elder/co/leader chat suggestion nothing would 'make clash great'. Infact i would go as far as saying some of them would make it a worse game.

Infact it seems like you just picked stuff that would help you (especially the clan related ones) and just made up any idea based around that.

Also you say clan war leagues wont work without even knowing what it is.

My suggestion for making the game forum great again would be to post in the correct subforum...

In order to make something "great again", you first have to stop it from being great. And most of us would not like to see that happen to Clash. It certainly hasn't so far.

I think the vast majority of people would seriously disagree with this. If you were to ask 1000 random clashers whether the maximum size should change or stay the same, you would get 600-700 saying it should stay the same, 300-400 saying it should increase, and 2-3 saying it should decrease.

Decreasing it would have a huge negative impact on a very large portion of the player base.

So you think that throwing away everything clans have worked hard for over a period of years, in favour of totally ephemeral thing would somehow revitalise the game?

There are 10s of millions playing now. If they did that, several millions would undoubtedly quit, and few new players would join to take their place.

This gets suggested fairly often, and certainly isn't a totally wacky idea, but this isn't BB, and it may not be a good idea to import it.

They have sped them up immensely, and have also given us Clan Games with various rewards which speed things up even more.

This would kill the game in days. The game relies on people being able to riad for loot, and this would pretty well stop that.

Yes! Having such things like Donation upgrade 2 levels at level 10 gives old clans an advantage. Its needs to be replaced with anything else

I would say if 10 million people are playing, only 300 hundred thousand of those people are in a level 10 plus clan. No one would quit.

I hope I am. I only have my daughts about Leagues becouse They did not take Clan Wars far enough. It was a good start but only a start in what could have been amazing.

No it does not. LV 10+ clans have the perks they have now they because they have worked countless hours to earn them. I do agree that starting a new clan is pretty difficult, and wouldn't mind making it slightly easier to level up lower level clans, but your idea on reworking how clan perks would work is not the way to do it.

Well it looks like they're taking it further. Save your doubts until after the CWL update drops, because without any knowledge on how it works, you can't possibly judge how good or bad it will be.

I would be amazed if you were within a factor of 10 there, and very surprised if it wasn't at least 25 times more than that.

A quick look through our war log shows 11 clans out of 50 who were not level 10 or above, and 9 of those 11 were level 9. And we are not a good clan (we have lost more than we have won), nor playing with large numbers - most of those wars in our log have been 10v10 or 15v15. If we were either good, or playing large wars, we would be even more likely to come up against level 10+ clans.

So that looks like at least 90% of all the clans who war regularly are likely to be level 10+

There are undoubtedly millions of players in level 10 clans. If all they have worked so hard for, many of them would quit. As would many who are in lower level clans but working towards that.

There is zero chance that no one would quit. People don't like having what they have worked hard for just taken away from them.

The possibility it "needs" to be ruled back in is nil. As is always the case when somebody says "it needs ..." regarding this game, what you mean is that you would quite like to see it.

Think you are missing a key point.

That is the POINT of having leveled up a clan. Your idea destroys an essential element of the clan structure. YOU BUILD AND WAR to get those perks. You want low level clans to have the same advantages of an "old" clan. That removes the concept of it being an ADVANTAGE. That is why they are called clan perks.

They are fair, as every clan has eventual access to them if they are active.

Next, most low level clans do not face high level clans in war that often. Most low level clans are facing similar clans. My mini clan has only faced two level 5 plus clans in forty some wars, and that is with a very respectable win loss ratio.

Low level clans that do face high level clans most likely also have high level clashers that decrease the clan perk disparity with already high level troops.

The game has changed. The days of "who wants to start a clan" comments in global turning into high level clans have nearly ended. You think it is because of clan perks. I disagree. Most long term clashers are already in clans that they enjoy, partly because of perks, but mostly because they have been there a while. There are no longer dozens of mid level clashers needing clans like there was a few years ago.
