Read through Tiler's entire post as it is very informative and gives a lot of pros on cons on all the different proposed solutions. Bot bases is his 5th point in the post
Thanks.
Here is a numbered list of solutions. Please look through this first, and see if your idea has been suggested. If your idea is a variant on one of these, mark what makes it different when you post.
1) Widen the search parameters for Legend League players
2) Reduce Legend shields
3) Remove Village Guard for Legend players
4) Remove shields for Legend players
5) "Bot" bases and increasing dead bases
6) PvP
7) Remove leagues; base matchmaking on defensive weights
8) Incentivize players to push to Legend League
9) Increase cloud convenience and comfort without changing match making
10) Trophy caps
11) Forced defenses
12) Limit quantity of attacks
Lots of replies to read.
Did Darian say in the news video that (12) is coming? A change from frustration with clouds to frustration of not being allowed to play. So we’ll go back to playing multiple accounts in parallel?
(5) is my gut feeling for a workable and viable solution. How to do it means a lot of details and options. I am open to that idea as it is similar to my old idea for re-enabling revenge. You revenge a dummy base exactly equal to the base (including CC troops) that attacked you. I don’t see how this will break the integrity of the game, I haven’t read the responses, but what’s with integrity of a phone game when you have to have another game alongside because it is mostly waiting?
Yes and no.
He didn't say it was coming as a solution to clouds.
He suggested it would probably be needed if the solution the have in mind succeeds in eliminating them, in order to prevent hared accounts attacking 24/7 apart from PBT. He was suggesting quite high numbers on those limitations.
