Allow Leader to empty Clan Castle Troops in War

SC should allow atleast the Leader to remove clan castle troops from war map from any war member. This way if any wrong donation is done it can be handled. If possible, also allow Leader to identify who donated wrong troops. That will help clans to great extent.

If wrong donation is done than the players CAN remove it. If leader is allowed to do so than he may even remove the correct donations. What do you think?

I agree leaders should be able to remove troops from war cc’s. This would be a nice quality of life improvement.

I agree and I would give co leaders the ability as well.

I don't believe anyone beside me should be touching my cc troops whether they be the right ones or not. Just like clan members make mistakes in donating, leaders will make mistakes as well when they remove them. All we will be doing is replacing threads complaining about wrong troops in cc with complaints from leaders that it is now THEIR responsibility alone to make sure cc donates are correct and have to go through a 40v40 war and check each and every one of their 40 to ensure it is correct. God forbid if they don't have time or forget as their clan mates will now view it as the leaders problem and not their own. Not a good idea at all.

If you are in a clan where the leader removes your war cc troops even though they are the troops you requested, there is a good way to avoid that, go to a clan with a better leader. I doubt there would be threads from leaders complaining like you guess. I do suspect there would be threads from players complaining that their leader is dumb and took out troops that were wanted and the responses would be that the clan is likely terrible with that type of leader anyway so go somewhere else. In the end, I think it would do more good than harm. I know it is not uncommon in our clan for someone to accidentally hit the wrong troop when donating and then we have to hope the person removes it so we can correct it. It would be so much easier if the leader could help. In a system where the leader can decide whether you even get to war at all, I don’t think it would be much of an issue for the leader to have some power over the cc troops.

I hear you, but I don't want folks mucking with my CC. I can take care of it myself thanks. End of day if they do install this idea, I don't want to hear a single peep from folks because a new issue was created when they solved this one.

I bet you are in a clan with a leader who wouldn’t mess with the war cc troops that you want? You don’t strike me as being in a clan that would have a different type of leader. Assuming that is the case, what would happen if someone put the wrong troops in your war cc and the leader noticed is he could take them out and put the correct troops in, rather than sending you messages trying to get you online asap so he can put the correct troops in.

That said, almost everything has positives and negatives and players on both sides of it. I am sure if they added his feature some players wouldn’t like it. I know my clan would love it.

Yes the clan I'm in wouldn't do that and I know I speak from a position of privilege. That being said, we expect folks to check their CC troops prior to war and prior to war attacks. Additionally, we have a culture that when someone contributes the wrong troops, they step forward right away and let the owner of that CC know. We also ensure they are filled usually within a few hours of prep day starting so we have many hours to make corrections in the rare event they are required. I guess at the end of it all, we expect folks to take responsibility and encourage them when they do and tweak as required where they don't. It's pretty much all adults from 18-60 so it's not a big deal to have everyone buy in.

Why would you want to keep donations you did not want? If a wrong donation can be immediately corrected by a leader why would that be a bad thing? If the concern is that the leadership would find a way to abuse this then this is a leadership problem. The fact that a leader is able to decide who can and cannot go to war is far more prone to abuse than having the ability to change what is in your war cc.

At this point in time, it is the responsibility of the leadership to make sure that war ccs are filled that is why they are leaders. Its been like that since the beginning.
