Stepping back into a battle after connection hopes off

In the past weeks, my WiFi has been hating me. It somehow always disconnects me for a second, then I'm back in it again. So I decided to suggest something that would be pretty usefull for everyone.
Why don't we get to continue our attack when we get disconnects and go back into the game? I mean like in CR.
I've heard a couple of times that people have suggested that they could restart their attacks when it ended and that others answered that it would be a bad idea because if a war attack went bad, you could put the internet off. But I don't mean it like that. I mean that you get to start back into the time in the attack you would be if the internet didn't go off.

I'm a software engineer, specializing in network communications, clients/servers, peer-to-peer, etc. I've done a fairly extensive thought experiment regarding this before. Simply put, we don't know how Supercell has implemented their infrastructure, but I can see how this type of feature to resume an attack could be very difficult if not impossible to do without rewriting the entire framework depending how it was originally implemented.

In general, when you start writing a complex piece of software expected to evolve over the years, you try to anticipate every possible future feature anyone might want, and you try to build a framework with hooks to accommodate that future stuff. Obviously it's difficult to predict the future, so you try to design your framework with some degree of flexibility. However, you have to make some compromises because with flexibility comes complexity, and with complexity comes more development and testing time, which in turn adds cost and delays your initial release.

A decent analogy is home construction. Suppose you build your house with cheap materials then during your first winter you realize it's energy inefficient and costs a lot to keep it warm - now you have to rip out all the walls, floors, ceilings to properly insulate them... that job would have been easier during initial construction but cost would have been higher and it would have taken longer. Or suppose you build a small house without a basement because you don't think you need one, but then get you married, have some kids, then the kids insist they need a basement because their friends have a basement and it's totally fun to play down there. They think all you need to do is dig a hole under the house and build some stairs. Easy, right? Um no...

Unfortunately, CoC doesn't have a basement nor a strong enough foundation to support building a 2nd & 3rd floor. CR was built later, so it has those things. (disclaimer, I've never played CR)
