If past history can be relied upon when are we due an update - do we usually have one in the fall (Autumn) I can’t remember? To me things just seem a little flat right now and we could do with a new theme.

Should be around beginning of October?
The fall sneak peeks last year started on October 10 - so I imagine you’re at least a few weeks away, maybe even later since the last summer one seemed to be behind schedule.
There will be the usual Halloween theme we have from October to December. That will have to drop before the end of October to be relevant, so I guess the update will be soon?

Can't wait for my first halloween in hayday. Back in 2015 I started playing hayday right after halloween theme ended. And then stopped playing in spring/summer 2016 because I was playing clash royale :smirk::facepalm:
the summer is not finished yet ... yes i know it's friday ... but for a fall update, the fall have to begin ...

Supercell's philosophy is to make and develop games people will play for years and years. I'm speculating when their numbers show session counts declining, they will release new content to energize their player base. So I suggest we go with the flow of game development: Play as long as HD is fun; stop playing when it isn't fun; start playing again when there's new content.Quote:

This is true for most games it goes in cycles tbh we get a lot of new content pretty often compared to some other games.
This doesn't mean i don't miss new stuff here too and is boring atm to play.
