That about sums it up. I am having a field day against inferno towers with spread attack in Champion league.

they barely have any damage.
Pekkas wouldn't be destroyed neither would golems or Dragons, easily.
I can see your feelings, and please do not take the following as bragging, "riding the high horse" etc. You are absolutely right in that very premature TH10, relying solely on their inferno towers, should not feel safe from any TH9 attack. But the fact is they are not safe, even with that OP defense, and TH9 are still able to win with sustainable army. Hogs are dead for that purpose, however balloonions are not. Two dragons, 24 balloons, 30 minions, CC, decent heroes, 2 rage 2 heal is all it takes to beat the s&&t out of any TH10 with gold walls and level 4 splash defenses, whatever mode their inferno towers are.
The main issue here isn't so much that the infernos are OP, or even the new multimode. Although I do feel that the addition of a Level 3 inferno is OTT when Level 2 was already powerful enough.
It's the fact that heal spell is now totally obsolete against a th10.
Seems I, along with pretty much everyone else, chose to invest in upgrading our healing spells to level 6 instead of freeze spells. I didn't think I would need freeze spells until I made it to Champions League but apparently now I need them to attack premature th10s with underdeveloped bases too. Go figure!
The poll speaks for itself. 2:1 people hate the inferno update. How is this at all making the game better?
Like me I said in the original post, it's not the multimodal thats OP... It's the fact that you can't heal the troops. It's a ♥♥ ability.
if someone would have suggested this inferno update in the suggestion forum, they would have been told to pound sand.
