♥♥♥♥, So because it's complicated, you just throw them all away? lol, I like that. Really though, it will take a bit more than getting to the Inferno tower to get 50%.

Just about every base in the champ league has level 3 infernos already.... Except me. My strategy is to avoid them.... Somehow! Basically I currently have no legitimate plan. Lollll but im excited!! This update brought some more spark to Champ league!
I would really like to see the profile of all those who say that the idiotically overpowered inferno towers are not a problem.
Complicated? To have calculate this you would need every different setup of th10 in clash with infernos and calculate each base. That would be much longer than the time that I chose to devote to this post. Also you never mentioned point defenses in your post... You just said the rays would take out wiz easily and also target golem/PEKKA and that the army would be useless in 30 sec... Also if you read my post I said depending on percentage of the village destroyed then yes they can...
No, you don't calculate, because you can't. Every raid is different, the whole thing is dynamic, but to leave out something as important as point defense just to chew on the fact that the disco mode has low DPS (thus can't kill golem by itself) is idiotic. I've never mentioned it in my comment, that doesn't mean I completely disregards that like you do.
You do know what's a GoWiPE attack is, do you? Now I ask you, what the heck is the GoPE attack? Because after a while, that's the only thing left of that army. The most damage dealing troop of that army is the wizard, and with 10 arms of the infernos, 30 wizard of yours (including the CC troops) will go down the toilet quick.
Its hillarious that so many of you think its more "fair" to have the game favor people who use expensive troops.... So, in your world, if you you "pay" for a 7k Dark Elixir Witch/Golem attack (which, incidentally is more easily executed by a moron with his big thumb - and big wallet - than a Hog or Loon attack) then this guy "deserves" to win.
♥♥♥♥♥.
Let's not forget, most of the top players in this game have spent hundreds-thousands of dollars - I accept that they get to "win" in end, but lets not pretend that this is an equal, skill-based playing field... That notion is utterly laughable.
No, it's just that it is stupid for a maxxed TH10 base to be able to be wiped out by low level troops. Makes the game a mockery.
Adding a level of strategic decision as to choice of mode on Inferno - like with XBow - adds to the permutations in the game, adding depth.
It is entirely reasonable that a near maxxed TH10 base should take an expensive, slow to train, army to wipe out. Otherwise the game would be imbalanced. Which it was with the ridiculous skill-free hog raiding. Thankfully that's fixed, and now more strategy is needed.
Simple solution if you think Infernos are SO OP.....go to TH10 and get them. You will find they ONLY work as part of a highly levelled up defensive base. On their own, they are worth nothing.
Show me a premmie TH10 with 2 infernos in multi-mode but relatively weak other defences, and (you or) I can easily wipe them out with just about ANY combination of troops.
You just inadvertently proved my point... If you can't calculate point defenses then you cannot include them in your calculations and that means that you can only calculate the inferno tower... Which is what I did. If you want me to include point defenses southern please tell me how you would go about it.I'm very interested in hearing this.
Good lord, can you read? You CAN'T calculate, there's no formula, as every battle is dynamic, but you cannot ignore them either. Just know for a fact that point damage is significant (extremely) at higher level. Your calculation is absolutely useless, because it will NEVER happen, ever.
Edit: you're trolling me, aren't you? You can't be serious.
I've been intentionally attacking those double disco-mode IT bases since the update came out. Balloons/minions, AQ 15, no BK, 3 spells. It was terrible in the beginning, but it's getting better already. Still lose 2 of 3 battles, but not epically - at 45%, and with decent loot. With BK up and full set of spells it wouldn't be a problem to one-star them. This been said, I still think that the new IT mode is OP, and well deserve some nerf.
As a side note, today on three different occasions IT burned out during the battle. It did happen before the update also, but was rare on fully active bases. Just coincidence, or it means that in the disco mode the inferno burns DE faster?
