The part that is making me even slightly consider the change ... Regardless of my town hall level I will be able to take as much loot from a th8 that a th8 would be able to take from a th8 regardless if im th9 or th10. So basically my th level when attacking now doesnt matter. Am i correct on this? I definitely plan on rereading the details me watching video again. But those were my initial first thoughts.
Let me be clear, the only reason I'm still at TH9 is because I planned on upgraging all walls to lvl 10 and heroes to lvl30. I know it sounds tedious to some but I'm a hardcore farmer at heart and didnt want to lose the loot bonus. But if there is no disadvantage now, then why not?
İts not like every lvl 10 has 4 m gold in their storages constantly. I still think you should upgrade to level 10 TH.
No you're not correct. The loot penalty still applies so u will be able to take a maximum of 150k from stores of a th8. Personally I would wait and see - th9s are likely to become the target of mass hoggers as 10 gets some protection but as you should be oscillating between 0 and 3m gold, you probably won't suffer too muchQuote:

I am also curious about moving up to th10. I am farming for lv9 walls and trying to max out everything in lab. Is it worth staying at th9 to work on king or queen? Mine are both currently at lv16
IMO, just upgrade your walls at the max! 9 or 10 if you can. And after go for TH10. Because at TH10 it's really boring to upgrade walls (I just did the lvl 8 walls and that was creepy. So finish your lvl 9 walls & go for TH10 without regrets ;) )

Anyhow, the main reason not to upgrade to TH10 isn't the fear of losing 400k instead of 350k, it's how much loot do you currently farm from TH8? Because once you upgrade to TH10, you'll only get 50% of the loot from the TH8's (opposed to the 90% you are getting from them as a TH 9).
