The new loot system does not improve loot for most of players that saving resources for upgrades (you could loot more but lose more as you save more). The only exception is you spend all the loots and not saving it (loot more and not lose more, ie. gold on walls)
The fact that people need to search on average lot more than the old loot system, combined the fact that SC removing inactive base from game searching (concluded by hundreds of post) meaning less resource in the game, was the cause why people struggle with new loot system.
Reduced the cost of search by 50% and double the time to become an inactive base.
