No Time Limits
War day attacks should eliminate time limits. After all it is called a war and in a war there is no time limit. You send your troops into battle and they fight until they can’t fight anymore. If anything you could have 3 minuets to lay down troops and after that it simulates the rest of the attack. This would prevent builder hut in the corner 2 star attacks, or just slow troops who can’t make it around a base in time. I’ve seen countless attacks end with troops alive and no defenses left. What in the world happens to the troops that are still there attacking. Do they just vanish like magic? This is one of the few things that has always bothered me and it would be great if they let war attacks go longer. With multiplayer it wouldn’t work without simulation because the other player could log on and shouldn’t have to wait, but for war this is not an issue. I remember for a short time they extended it to 3:30 but changed it back. This was a shame as it made things so much more fair.

Plan your attacks better. Save an archer for that one corner hut.

There's no need to extend or remove the time limit. When it comes to war, you have 24 hours to scout your opponent's base. Getting the attack done within the time limit is part of the strategy, something that you must take into account when planning.
Plus I'm sure you've been happy seeing people running out of time when they're attacking you, right?
