Optional troop events
Currently we have troop events which are a set troop type. Sometimes the troop event is something not accessible to lower level player like lava hounds for town hall 8 and below for example. Sometimes the troop event is for a troop which is useless for a top end player. A number of troops rarely get events due to the fact a town hall 10 or higher is required for them, despite many high level players screaming out for a miner or bowler event.
What I am proposing is troop events to have 3 options, of which one you can select at the start of the event from a dropdown list and press a set event button. Basically one option from each of three categories of troop listed below (beginner, intermediate, advanced).

Basically I see troops being put into 3 brackets.
Beginner (troops that can be built at town hall 6)
They will be Barbarians, Archers, Giants, Goblins, Balloons, Wizards and Healers
Intermediate (troops that can be built at town hall 8)
They will be Dragons, Pekkas, Minions, Hog Riders, Valkyries and Golems)
Advanced (troops that need a town hall 9 or greater to build)
They will be Baby Dragon, Miners, Electro Dragons, Witches, Lava Hounds and Bowlers)
Seven beginner troops, six intermediate one and six advanced ones.
Each troop event one from each category will be chosen from random by supercell to populate the dropdown list. This will give players of every level benefit. Little players will not have to feel left out because the troop is too advanced for their clan to make or too big for their clan castles. Advanced players will not feel neglected with a troop event for a troop they probably haven’t used or considered using since town hall 8. There is usually a disconnect with these two groups with one or the other feeling left out and this way everyone ends up happy.

The difficulty of challenge for each slot can be decided by the reward.
For eg: Barbarian event for beginners
If it's just 3 potions difficulty can be low (use 10-15 barbarians)
If it's 5 potions, difficulty can be increased further (use 15-20 barbarians)
If it's a book, increase it further (use 25-30 barbarians)
Etc
Same can be done with other tiers
More valuable the rewards, more difficult the challenge could be.
Reward and Difficulty level is set by SC as per their wish and reward scheme.
