Supercell just announced this morning that they are closing the Boom Beach forum. This follows the closing last year of theClash Royale forum and the announcement that they weren’t going to create a forum for Brawl Stars. When they announced they were closing the CR forum they said there was no plan to close the Boom Beach forum and here we are today with the announcement that the Boom Beach forum is closing. Will Hay Day be next as supercell seems to be getting rid of all their forums.
I hope HayDay will not be next. Maybe we can all encourage some of our hood mates and friends to join the discussions here. There is so much useful information that a NH leader cannot possibly pass along everything.
As the leader of a BB TF I pass along all important information I get from this forum to my TF. The formats they are choosing to use, reddit, discord, Facebook, etc. just aren’t as good for the type of discussion as we have on the forum. They may be better for interactive stuff like AMAs but not all of us have the ability to be logged on at a specific time. Some of us have real world responsibilities and this forum is great for us. We can comment then come back later and read and reply to other comments.
Now that it has happened twice, I fear it will happen to all of SC games.
They've not updated the forum software in ages. Spam is a problem (expensive) and they may not like all the negativity on the forums.

I hope not. If the Forum goes, I doubt I’ll continue playing. Nick did say it wouldn’t go and that it’s SO different to the other games forums, so there’s some hope it’ll stay, BUT they did say B.B. wouldn’t go either...
Ah so the new nh information space and tags as to what kind of nh you are in the last update make sense now
I am one of only a very few in our NH who is on the forum and pass a lot of information along to other NH memebers. I am not sure what I would do if the forum closed. I have made some close friends on here..........
Yeah, its very sad. Makes you think twice about some of the threads that may seem irrelevant in the greater scheme of things. We are all in this as one "family" ( be it a happy family or not) and these decisions have a profound impact on many. Hang in there peeps;))Quote:
