Idea of Getting Old Limited Obstacles Back

Hi Supercell,

There are some players who really love the limited obstacles (Halloween, Christmas,Bday,NewYear etc). But really feel sad when look into someone base having all the limited obstacles,which we dont have.This is because we started playing 2..3 years late. So my idea is can we have a way like event or rewards or purchase may be to get the old obstacles back in our base. This will be great. Players who like this idea ,pease vote. Supercell please reply if this can be implemented. :)

Yes I want to have those obstacles too. Can you provide us old obstacles with the exchange of 500 gems each.

i am fine with the actual situation. they are limited and they are some prove how long a player played this game. one suggestion there should be at least spawn minimum one special obstacle for everyone if they are playing during the special obstacle season.

Am pretty sure, you might be a older player :p. Anyway the second point you mention is already there in game. However Super-cell spent some effort to design those obstacles and very few people having them,which is rarely visible in a week. The number of player increased in past 3 years is huge. So i hope they wont let their effort to get wasted and probably will do something for this. One idea can be old obstacles with some logo representing its obtained in a recycle or purchased later on.

Special obstacles are just that: special. They are a symbol for players to show how long they have been playing. That is their value. If they were made available again to everyone they wouldn’t be special anymore. I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for this to happen. For years, every time a special obstacle is released, players have posted threads asking for old obstacles and SC hasn’t done anything yet. I would personally be very upset if SC let old obstacles be purchased by everyone and I think the majority of players would as well.

I agree. I’ve been playing for a long time and I deleted many old special obstacles I’d love to have back. That being said, I’d hate to see them available now. That would take the special out of special obstacle

I have been playing the game since 2014.

In 4 years. I have spawned many obstacles but, many were on such weird positions, I had to remove lot of them.
Back when I was TH 6,7,and 8 player, base size was small enough, and I didn't care of obstacles; I let them spawn anywhere.

Then at TH 9 base size increased, so I had to remove quite a good amount of those, and now at TH 10 base size is huge. I hardly have old obstacles left.

I am quite sure, SC has records of when a player started playing the same; so according to that information if they could allow players to get the 1 of each old obstacle just once; it would help many such players.

This exactly, I'm also veteran in this game and like many others, I had to delete plenty of old special obstacles due to base design.

I suggested an idea of "obstacle library" before, where you store your obstacles and decide where to put them and how many without losing them (you could place them down/remove them at your discretion) according to when you started playing.

However, so many other players (and I'm not picking fights here) feel too "special" because they didn't remove them since they've got them, that they refuse any of such ideas, and I was met rather with hostility than understanding.

If they allowed us to place obstacles according to when you started playing the game, that'd be awesome, but then we'd firstly have to do something about player's who need/want to feel special.

Exactly. I’ve played since 2013 and have gotten every cool obstacle there was but deleted all the special ones. I regret it, but I don’t think they should come back.
