skull walls can be done completely within 2-3 weeks if u exclusively focus on them. thats actually what iam doin rite now since everything else is maxed in my th8 already except de troop upgrades
It is really easy to get them done..you should have done it along with your defences...just do it..it took me three weeks to get them done. It is definitely worth ..
I say yes but then again i didnt even max them, got like half of em done :/
I would recommend that you upgrade your walls.
I would say upgrade all your walls to 7 until your defenses are maxed or close to maxed. That's my plan since lv 7 walls look a little intimidating while all my defenses are upgrading and when all defenses are done then walls are the only thing to use gold on
Yes, for sure. Much easier to finish your level 9s if you start th9 with full skulls.
max your storages before every upgrade and you'll have them quicker than your defense upgrades actually complete...
Same question pops up all the time and gets the same answer, ask yourself instead: why shouldn't you max you walls? Is it wrong to upgrade them? What do you lose? And ask yourself especially this question because you seem kinda lost..Whats the MAIN point with this game? (For people without a brain: improving setup which includes maxing your defense as known as walls..:eek::eek:)

In a perfect world, yes go for it. However i was a very premature th8 and I am now going to th9. I have all max defenses, almost max bk and about a third level 8 walls. I'd say no if they hold you back.
You should max them out because you will HAVE to get to them eventually, and at TH10 you need higher than level 7 walls, which means you NEED them for future developement. Better get them done in TH8 where this is better loot and less distractions.
where will you spend the excess elixir if you want to max the walls in TH8?

Maxing is better than not maxing, but people make the question WAY too simple. There are several variables: Are all your builders sitting idle? Is all the elixir you get in big raids just going into the garbage because your storages are full? Maybe it would be better to go to th9 with incomplete walls so that your builders are working again, your elixir is being put to use, you can get the archer queen to aid in attack/defense, you can collect dark elixir from two upgraded drills faster, your lab can work on non-dark elixir troops that you frequently use, etc.Quote:

While I agree with what you have posted about lost time, the fact is, your base/the-game only progresses as you have time to upgrade your base. and while you can dig out of a premie hole with extensive raiding schedule, you cannot surpass the loot penalty. and that alone is reason to have a few idle builders while you grind out the skulls, to me anyhow.Quote:

so yes the time is out the window, but a maxed TH8 is much better than any premie situation period. this is probably the most critical TH to have maxed.
Idk about you guys, but i have almost maxed all my DE-troops(except goleem, and valkyrie), and almost all my defense due to the maxed th8 that i started with when i became th9. Im working on the th9 walls atm, even if 3mil/each wall is kinda hubris/overkill.
Definitely max them out. It took me about three weeks, and I had fun doing it (sleeping builders really don't bother me). Totally worth the time and effort, and what's not to love about having to raid a lot? ;)
What trophy range should I farm in?
I would definitely do it. I'm a max Th 8 including all troops (yes even the Valk is level 2) and I have been working on my walls for about 2 weeks now. I'm 31 walls away from finishing, I will probably get 5 more done when I boost my barracks tonight. I have roughly 4 more days until my TH is finish upgrading.
At my current pace, I should be done by Thursday evening. That will leave me 2 days to fill my gold storages.
I'm having some great luck at Gold 2 at the moment. But, I'm not strictly looking for collector raids, the vast majority of my loot comes from storages and 1/20 raid I would hit a jackpot collector base.Quote:

It's easier to do it on TH9 with stronger troops.
It will take more than a few weeks. I estimate to gain about 2.5 mil gold/day which if u farm that amount continuously will take 40 days.
