currently if im a th9 in champion or titan 90% of the time i only get 3-4 pts for beating a th11 or even th12 only because their rank is lower. thats frustrating. if i can beat a th12 as th9 i should get more points than 3 or 4. nugh said.

At that high of a league, trophies are only based on your trophy level and your opponent's, nothing more. Plus, finding another TH9 at that range is unlikely, so you'll find more higher THs to deal with. That's what you get for going so high in trophies.
That would seriously put the trophy system out of whack. What if you lose to a lower th, do you get more points subtracted as well?
Pushing is (always has been) a marriage of frustration and patience. And yes the trophy system is messed up already as it is, but I think your idea would completely destroy it.
Just share your replays with your clan if you pull off some cool wins against ths two or three levels up :smirk:

well even in tennis the wta used to do this. 100 pts for a win over anyone in the top 3. 75 points for beating anyone ranked 4,5 or 6. or something like that. u can google it. sure if you loose as th12 vs th9 you should loose more points. your defense has to be really i mean reaaaaaallly bad then and you should be punished for it. makes people build better defenses. and whats so meaningful about a th9 getting 10 pts for a win over a th11. you talk like i talk about +50 but i just said give me +5.

You can already lose a days gains , heck two days gains even in a Single defence. If you’d lose say four days worth because some th above you managed to beat you, you’d be suicidal, no?
like i said i dont see 5 pts making the difference. let it be 2 lvl. if a th10 or th9 beats a th12 give him +5 and the th12 -5. you surely are not trophy pushing if you get beaten by a th9 as th12. you should see it as an ambition to learn more about the game not to loose to it. if you can only make +5 in one day what the heck are you doing with your time.
I can see what you're asking for, but the current trophy system doesn't function that way currently.
Let's sidestep for a second and think about the implications of your proposal:
>Lower THs get rewarded for hitting higher TH players
>Higher THs in higher leagues get penalized more because of attacks by lower THs
>Lower THs can go higher and faster in trophies because of the current MM at higher leagues
>>Higher leagues can get flooded with lower THs
>>Higher THs can't get extra trophies that lower THs get in higher leagues because they are also attacking the same higher THs

Ultimately, lower THs would be in higher leagues, and that alone doesn't make sense.
i only partially agree. if more skilled lower th players are in higher leagues. the th12 have an easier life there, because they can get free wins here and there. so it would balance each other out. or do you have a problem beating a th10 as th12 ? i know its hard up there to be a th12 and trophy pushing to legend. if i could get a th10 every 10 games or so i would appreciate it. but here we are starting to talk about finetuning the algorithm. i did not want to go that far but you get the point. as a dev myself im pretty sure there is a solution for a smarter dude than me. i only made a suggestion. thats what the forum is for. my thread is about ambitioning players to push trophys. not everyone is th12. the majority is th9. and you still should be an exeptional player to get legend thats not what im saying. no league will get flooded if you give someone who beats a th 2 lvl higher +5 or do you do that every hour ?
True, it would be easier for the TH12s.
Now, what we have to consider is this: if a TH12 hits a TH9, most likely that TH9 will get a full shield. (The rest follows from this assumption.) Now no more TH12s can hit the 9. Meanwhile, that same 9 can hit more bases with that sheild.
Now, the question is, will it actually be balanced out with the attacks and the defenses?
Regarding the last point of your post, if a player wants to push trophies, he / she can simply upgrade their town hall and troops. Sure, it may take a while, but, ultimately, higher leagues are not truly meant for the lower Town Halls.
I would say the rewarding part is being in high leagues while being a low Th.
A lot of bases up there purposely have a th somewhat exposed to give up a one or two star but fight off the three. You are putting those players at a huge disadvantage with this concept, as they now either give up trophies to low bases like yours or get constant threes from high levels.
More incentive NOT to push.
