Siege Machines

We have a lvl 13 war clan with almost 400 wins but just got a 30 put on us in 10 v 10. That hasn't happened in over a year. Why you ask. Because the opponent had a th12 that donated siege machines to their th 10s which allowed them to easily 3 star our top bases. That is a very unfair war advantage☹. If the th12 isnt participating in the war they shouldn't be able to donate siege machines. For that matter I don't think any troops higher level than the participants have should be able to be donated. Allowing takes the skill out of it.

There is no way that the system can determine if the siege machine donated will be used for a war attack or a normal multiplayer raid. I know it feels unfair that your opponent somehow has the advantage. I'm in a clan wherein there are only three people who can donate siege machines. If no one is available to donate one, I try asking for a siege machine in global chat, leave my clan for a moment, and return back with a siege machine in my castle. And that's what everyone in my clan does. They wouldn't attack unless they are really complete with everything.
So I hope that one of your top playets move up to TH12 and have his or her workshop built so that he or she can donate to your clan members. Or better yet, try recruiting someone that already has them. If your clan has almost 400 wins, I'm pretty much sure that there are a lot of TH12s out there wanting to be in an above average war clan.

Since the siege machine has been added our clan has had a number of losses where the machine was used to defeat our strongest players yet no lvl 12 player was in war. Since we have no level 12 clan members wars matches against another clan with a th12 player become a waste of time. How to fix this is a difficult solution however. One possible solution would be to limit machines to lvl 12 players only or allow lvl 10 or lvl 11 players to create them. Another possible solution would be to only allow active war players to donate machine much in the same way only active war players can fill clan castles. Alternately supercell could balance out the power lvl of the war machine to lower it allowing for some form of defense to stop it.
I’ve already seen long time players leave the game out of frustration with the new war machines and would very much like to see some adjustment made to address this issue.

I completely agree! It's easy to fix, only th12's should be able to receive a battle machine. We will also be stopping wars until this is fixed.

Even if these changes you ask for were implemented, one clan will win and one lose. What would be the next thing to complain about that caused your clan to lose a war? No sense taking the fun away from the clans that are being more proactive than yours to get the job done on the battlefield. There are several ways to aquire machines. Use them or don’t war.
