I haven't done any wars with a TH9 for a while, is this the current meta? Surely someone is going to try something different?

yeah, that is the main strategy, but there have been a couple of very successfull valkyrie tornados, lavaloons, dragloons, gohogs and even a super surgical gobo-lavaloon combinations. Good war, everyone.

btw a couple of hours before the end of the first round, forums are trailing by 23 but not all attacks have been used up yet, espescially in the Th9 war.

According to a poll by our Forum Events clan, any friendly war without our boss TullSadum is just that, a friendly war. As such only wars with him in the line up will count towards the points total. If you EYGF are wondering why the goal posts have shifted it is because we CAN! Of course the 1million gems to each winning member sways our decision to ENGINEER the victory for the forums. Bring it on tmr EYGF as you will be facing the big bad meanies TH12s not the kiddos just to soften you up. Anyone not happy, #blameTull #blameHolps and ofc #blameFinch.
