I think it would've been better to remove the ability for th10s to hold siege machines and to not allow the +2 level perk (it's not a troop).
Seems a little drastic to nerf them almost into uselessness before defense levels are maxed.
I also think it should count more than 1 housing space. At least where activating the eagle is concerned.

Or perma th10 could just accept that their th isn't important anymore. They should just upgrade to th11. With 30-35 heroes, th10 is still very balanced imo.

Right! This is what doesn't make sense. If they did play test the SM you would assume it was against Max TH12 defenses. So they knew it needed the high HP to be able to counter all the DPS from point defenses.

If they don't buff it in the future the SM will be pretty lackluster for what was supposed to be a game changing unit.

Which means what they should have done is make them this weak to begin with and then add extra levels as defenses caught up...which is probably whats going to happen

Sure I thought of that too. But it doesn't change the fact that TH10-TH11 will get whatever the max level is which will be OP for their TH.

It feels to me SM's are going to be good for lower townhalls but not very useful for TH12.

Reading the reason for nerfing the wallwrecker ( too OP against bases still Th 11 basically and not enough upgrades of workshop to blimp) maybe we should all stop using it altogether until it gets a little buff. Anything underused will get a a buff ( just look at Pekka).

It's a good thought, but that would make every new player going through th10, to be unimportant in war as well. Would you want to play a game for 3 years before you could make a difference in wars?

Yep, we had one person in our clan who upgraded to blimp and we all played with it for a day. One day and we all knew the blimp was worthless compared to the WW. How they thought in their testing the blimp was better making it the second unit was beyond me. If anything it should have been the FIRST unit and make people upgrade to the WW.

Last war we had 99.2% destruction. Just missed 2 TH12s and those were 87% and 97%. The other 3 TH12s were tripled along with everything else. Hogs OP, Edrags OP. Since the update our lowest destruction rate is 97%

So SC you have decided to kill the WW at the TH12 level because it was powerful against TH11s and 10s.

Wasn't the WW created to contend with TH12 max defense? If that's the case then why Nerf it at the TH12 level, you dropped it 1000hps, so now it's basically none essential and a glorified WB. Most TH12s put there THS outside anyway since the TH itself is a defense.

In time the TH12 defenses will catch the offense. As for people not upgrading the BB it's been 2 weeks, we have to do camps, GW got 10 more levels, we have to upgrade 6 different elixir troops, upgrading SM to get BB isn't high on the priority list. I'm all for game balancing but aren't higher level THS and Troops suppose to smash lower levels? I think you should remove the WW altogether or make it where it can't be donated to TH11s and 10s if the concern is its OP.

The nerf on the siege machine is too much too soon. On a well designed TH11 base, it will not make it to the TH without freezing single targeting inferno towers along the way. As TH12 defenses begin to level up, it will only become more obvious how premature your nerf was.

It's disgusting to see changes that have made it through beta testing get nerfed within such a short time of release. You drive people to upgrade, with many buying gems to add this item and then almost immediately you change what we paid for. Who tests these changes? Do you need new testers?

Now that you have devalued the siege machine, how about reducing the time and cost to build it?

A new player doesn't have max heroes at th10. Before the update new players with 30/30 or 35/35 had almost no chance to 3 star a maxed base. With the wall wrecker it's still pretty tough but possible. Th10 should never have been more difficult than th11.

Don't be so logical, that's not a mistakes. That's a planned nerf of something cool people gemmed fast to get. Easy money grab, I think almost every game do this scam when releasing new content. SC is not different than others.

Look at CR, often you see OP cards people gems to get tournament lvl and then they nerf.
Look at every moba.. same process.

But you're right, this one comes surprinsingly fast, and obvious.

i agree this is too early to nerf WW

I am not sure this unit needed to be nerfed but as other have stated it should not be something that can be donated. My mini account (TH10) has been absolutely destroying anything TH10 in wars and raiding. Nothing but 3 stars. As much as I enjoy the guaranteed 3 stars each attack now this unit clearly should not be available to TH10.

After 2 weeks of data, it was expected that a high percentage of 12's would dedicate a builder for the second workshop upgrade over many other important things like TH star levels, Army Camps, Clan Castle, Barracks, Gold/Elixer/Dark storage, let alone starting on defense upgrades? TH12's are dealing with mostly 14 day upgrades and ton of them, 2 weeks of data is nothing.

The single dominating combination? How many years has Queen Healer been dominating without a nerf and actually then add a huge buff with the removal of heal block on infernos instead. WW are dominating because max level WW donation to TH10 and TH11 is what is OP, NOT maxed out TH12! Shame on everyone for not upgrading to Battle Blimp right away in the first 2 weeks. :rolleyes:

Community discussion on how "OP"? Seriously, how can that be measured against the game? How many of them are TH10 & TH11 let alone TH12 with TH11 defense... hummm probably 99+% if not 100%, but its in this community, not game data. The balance would have been not making them available to lower TH level's or limiting the SM level at best if they are still able to have access to them as non-TH12's.

Why would Anyone take 3 years to go through th10? I spend 5 month there and went TH11 with maxed heroes and maxed defenses, ok lab took a while to catch up in TH11 but I really wasn’t missing anything not upgrading clone, skellie, pekka, goblins and Barch those had multiple levels left when I left TH10. You upgrade what you need and move on. TH 10 was alway a bad place to be for war, loot is amazing there so farm like crazy and move on.

With all due respect to you, how do we know? Isn't it a little too soon since very few have TH12 defenses at this point? Most people have upgraded labs, storage, camps, TH for two weeks. How do we even know to make these changes? Seems the changes are not related to game play verse SC not getting what they need.

I agree the Seige machine was too strong, but I think your nerf was too drastic and it is now too weak.

I think if you had only done 50% of the reductions you did, that would be a good starting point, but to completely kill it in one update, that was foolish.

Also do you not test this stuff before you release it? Did you really have no idea how powerful it was, it's very misleading to the community when you advertise something build up hype, then release it, and I'm sure hundreds and thousands of people buy it and even use real money to gem stuff to max for that immediate advantage, then you make it basically useless compared to what it was. That's a good way to royally anger your users who pay you. I know you never read these comments or at least you never listen because I've been writing them along time and I've read countless others. One day your game will start to dwindle in popularity and you'll all be scratching your heads, while I lean back with a beer and say I told you to listen to us.

OK, let me see if I get this right: you released a major update not even 3 weeks ago with a ton of new things to upgrade, you noticed that "very few TH12 players were upgrading their Siege Workshop to unlock the Battle Blimp", and you concluded that "a very large part of that reasoning was because the Wall Wrecker was too good"? I am sorry... what????

You do realize that everybody wants the new camps for the extra troop space, the new barracks for the electro-dragon, and then upgrade the electro-dragon to max in the lab. Upgrading the siege workshop is just not a priority right now! It's just too soon after the update.

Look, I am not trying to say that the wall wrecker is not OP. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. But it is definitely too soon to tell! Give it till September or October, so that enough players have sufficiently progressed with their upgrades in TH12, see how the max wrecker fares against TH12 with maxed defenses, see how many people prefer the wrecker over the blimp, and then decide if a nerf is needed or not.

What is happening now is deja vu. It reminds me of the witch nerfing scandal after the TH11 update, which ended up ruining witches for a long time.

Dear SC, before you nerf something... resist the impulse, and just wait a bit. Gather evidence and evaluate it. You don't need to theorize and reason things out, just wait patiently for a while till you collect the data you need.

How can you make that determination already? Do you have a maxed TH12 yet? Have you raided a maxed TH12 yet? Why do I have the feeling the answer to both of those questions is no? Might be a good idea to begin that post with "IMHO."

I did...used so much money in 2 days to enjoy th12....maxed edrag..maxed sm..maxed de troops...maxed aq...and so on....their so called testing prior to release is a joke. Its real grab and bait to get our money and do drastic reductuon is really non sense...why would they care...they got our money....oh well...another lesson learned.

The nerf itself is laughable, but unfortunately predictable. Having a company that makes as much money as it does not be able to field test something well enough to know whether it is to powerful is a joke. Exactly. First no one has Max TH12 defenses. Second most people haven't adapted their base designs to counter the SM (I know I have not yet). SC didnt even let the META stabalize before nerfing the SM for all TH12's. It is still going to be fine for TH10-11. It is the TH12's that need it the most yet it will be the most useless for.

So this SM nerf after 2 weeks is troubling when it comes to SC's play testing. If they did play test the SM with Max TH12 defenses before it was released they would know how good it was and if it needed to be buffed or nerfed. They say they testd so they should have had an idea if it was too good or not a long time ago.

On the other hand, could they have even play tested the nerf that they just rolled out? My biggest concern is they just rolled out a nerf that has LITTLE TO NO testing done to see if it was needed. I mean if it was tested it was for less than 2 weeks. Which in my book is not extensive at all. That is what we call in software testing a smoke test.

Personally, I think the play testing was fine and the original SM was fine against th12s. Perhaps it would have been better to not release level 2 or level 3 of the SM until defense upgraded a bit, but I do not think it was OP against th12s. Whether it was OP against lower halls I’m not sure. On the one hand, it did make getting 3 stars much easier. On the other hand, I think th10 needed to be much easier to 3 star now that it is 2 halls away from max.

Anyway, I think the play testing was fine. What wasn’t fine, but was expected, was the typical nerf squad that comes online and on YouTube with hand picked attacks screaming for a nerf after a new fun troop is released.

Yep, my preference would be to keep the original statistics, but only let th10s hold level 1 and th11s hold level 2. That way only th12s are using level 3 (and maybe it would have been good to delay level 3 for a couple months to let defenses upgrade).

Just used my level 1 machine and damn it kinda sucks..... had to use 3 freeze just to protect it. Normally I didn't....guess I need to level it up now....

Can’t say I’m surprised bout the seige nerf. Have to agree with a lot of other posters. How can a company with so many resources not figure out if something is too powerful before launch. Also most defenses aren’t even maxed yet. However, the thing that gets me the most is no reduction in time. 20 minutes for level 1 and it actually increases to 25 minutes if you upgrade to level 2. I mean what the h. Seriously, what’s the point of upgrading the dang thing.

Prediction....

Based on past practices, It’s possible that after all the above feedback, this decision by SC will be short-lived. I wouldn’t be surprised if it came in this form: In about 1-2 weeks they’ll tell us their thinking was correct but the implementation was wrong and they’ll rebuff SMs to at least a fairer level and make them un-donatable to TH10s and TH11s. They’ll use the rationale that they had to follow this route to confirm their original data/thinking. As compensation, I see them giving TH12s upgrading events and builder boosts to help them upgrade their siege workshop and machines prior to any anniversary events.

We know there’s going to be a softening of this hard line at some point. What form it takes, only time will tell.

Well, the ww is working marvelously now....for th’s 10/11. Just attacked someone a bit ago who had a few max canons, max wizard towers, 1 maxed Xbow and level 12 walls. My lvl 3 ww made it past the first layer of walls then just kinda...melted. Mind you, I use my bk as a tank for the ww with my aq bringing up the rear. Before the screw job..er, rebalancing, I would’ve made it into the second level where the enemy aq was. Apparently max 12 defenses are stronger than th11 defenses. Hard to believe, I know. This isn’t even funny anymore. The siege machine was made for th 12’s, they’re made by 12’s for donations (at a steep cost in both gold/time) yet we get the short end of the stick while the other th’s reap the benefits? Not cool SC. Not cool at all.

Same. Very disappointed. The worst part about it is this is happening against th11s, not even th12s with maxed defenses. Wall wrecker has basically turned into a wallbreaker. You guys turned a gamechanging feature to a mere wallbreaker/ giant. SAD!!

I think many players just haven't gotten to upgrading the Workshop yet. I have been on all Camps and Storages, while doing one Barracks at a time. So, I just have not gotten there yet. Seems too soon for changes. I, for one, was not putting off the workshop because the WW was "too" good.

So just did my second war attack. Dang max seige couldn’t get past more than one layer of level 10 walls, with 4 giants tanking for it! Ended up with 94% 2 star. This update went from being one of my favorites to complete and utter ♥♥. Hey sc, in 2 weeks when your data shows you how crappy these things are, will you buff them? I doubt it.

And i I read one of the reasons sc did this because peeps haven’t unlocked blimp? Hello, there are a ton of elixr upgrades. 4 camps, 4 gold storages to unlock cc, lab, new troops, new warden levels, and you wondering why more blimps haven’t been unlocked?! Been on these forums for years, and I usually roll with the punches. This nerf was completely unnecessary. Bang up job.

Th12 - I was very excited about the ww and how it changed the meta (barely. Just affects decision about location of ks deployment). With weak ww it doesnt matter if u attack right at th because it breaks fast anyway. Now were back to the exact same meta as b4. WW needs to be op so we design our ks deployment location around it. Otherwise its just a free golem 2x wiz and a few wb.

You just killed all the "momentum" the update created. Great job supercell. My clan morale is at an all time low. Well, i guess we will all just be 2starring weak th12s. I assume your nerfing giga tesla next?

Edit: blimp needs more than a buff to make it affect the meta. Maybe make it invisible to ad? It needs something added to its mechanics to make it beneficial. Im not sure what purpose the designers imagined for it at all.

This NEW WW at max level take 2 hits to destroy a lv 10 wall, 3 hits lv 11 etc. its good againts th 10 defenses but at th 11 its complete a waste of money 2 cannons and a xbow obliberate this WW i don't know what happen vs th 12 but i think its obvius!!

not wort cost/benefit i think we are back to wallbreakers and a gigant XD!

now the blimp still a piece of nothiiiiiing, to fast to use it whit air attacks, to weak for trying delivery tropps in the middle. i love how SC desing something incredible but they never KNOW how to apply correctly to the game

Not liking the reasoning behind wall wrecker nerf. Many players have not maxed workshop, only because we were workin on getting camps going 1st at th 12. Should have allowed more players time to get the battle blimp, before nerfing wall wrecker

jeez, i'm yall are nuts. wall wrecker was pretty broken so i'm not surprised they elected to nerf it. my guess is that this nerf is mainly focused around th10/11 balance which is unfortunate but i guess watching it travel across entire th10/11 bases was too good to be true.

with wall wrecker we were seeing insane hit rates in our wars...

on average we were at a 33% th12v12, 50% th11v11 and 75, sometimes 100% 10v10 3 star rate in war against top notch anti 3 bases, that to me seems a bit over the top.

on the other hand, i kind of enjoyed the last 2 weeks watching bases get annihilated and the scores in war go way up. a th11 just isn't safe anymore. only th12 with giga tesla maxed seemed to stand a chance of defending.

with this nerf, the hit rates are definitely going to drop back slightly but i think WW is still going to be useful, just not to the point where we can skip bringing a 2nd jump entirely.

i really hope they don't go after the giga tesla next.

With that in mind, the Wall Wrecker is STILL a very powerful unit. It's still a very viable Siege Machine. This refactoring of its stats does not diminish its abilities very much.

Wall wrecker too good? Or blimp just not as good? Or just didn't see the money pour in as fast as you thought it should? TH12 has been in place for how long? And given the number of items to be upgraded you just automatically expect the upgrade to the blimp to be that high up on the list?

The fact remains that given the weaponized town hall and upgraded defenses of a TH12, you have just neutered the one item that offered a balance. If it's too powerful at TH10 or TH11, then you need to be more specific in your changes. Spin it however you like, the fact is that you have not given it enough time in the real world and I'm sorry I bought the gems to implement the TH12 upgrades that I have.

Never learn do we? Double nerf ftw, no baby steps here.

Meanwhile I spam dropped mass e drags with some loons scattered behind and 96% a max th/max eagle base without even trying and level 120 heroes.

So the WW is too good for TH11-12 but what about the TH it was meant for, TH12. What happens when we have all max TH12 defenses? The WW is going to be useless. Might as well just use wall breakers.

Extra levels may help TH12 because they hurt lower TH's. This normal Nerf is not a solution to the bigger issue. The long term fix to balancing is to limit the level of SM based on CC level. That way the lower TH's can get the low level SM's that are weak but at least TH12's can have an effective SM.

This is why I have stopped paying real money for this game. Say what you want about supporting development efforts and such but if I pay for something I do not expect it to change after I bring it home.

At th11 and th10 it may have been op. BUT with solid base designs our th11 have defended quite a few high quality max th11v11 attacks. Reducing the max lvl of donated ww to old lvl 2 for th11 and old lvl 1 for th10 would have been reasonable.

Completely agree. 4 out of our 6 th12 bases defended multiple attacks in war. 88 2*, 71 2* , 65 2*, 63 2* and 1 of our th11s survived 99 2* against a good clan. These bases aren't even close to max yet which is proof the siege is not OP!

Do you really think that 33% is too much? You are attacking very new bases with max th12 troops I guess. In my opinion this 3 star rate would even be perfect against maxed bases.

This is a ridiculous comment after two weeks. My guess is that many people who went to TH12 either bought the town hall pack, which comes with the Siege Workshop, or they built it immediately so unlock the Wall Wrecker. Then they decided to prioritize other buildings over unlocking the Battle Blimp. Like the lab. Like army camps. Like the barracks. Like the clan castle. Like the storages.

This reasoning doesn't hold water so soon into the TH12 update.

This could actually be a viable solution. Clan perks that don't apply to siege machines.

Not arguing that level 3 wall wreckers may have been a bit much at th10 and 11 levels, but you really need to let some of these kids test this stuff for a few days before you release it, then have to quickly nerf it. Is obvious the devs just aren’t good enough to adequately test their creations. One only had to do a few attacks themselves to see the outcome. Think back quickly to the valk, golem and witch debacles...they just aren’t very good at their own game. The only other argument you can make is that it really is merely a money grab.

You went outside the circle to test the inferno nerf, why not do the same for other big updates? Having to nerf such a big game changer so quickly just looks like careless planning...because it was. Test this stuff before release, we love this game!

This would have been a good solution. (Not sure how difficult that would have been to implement though?)

However, I've done about 15 raids today and every one of them, the WW has made it to the TH. Granted, when farming, I just look for the shortest (or most efficient) path. I'm not trying to drop it across the map.

Very disappointed about the WW nerf. And the reasoning behind it simply makes no sense. Most people don't have the blimp yet because there are more important upgrades to do first. The very few who do, know that it sucks. Nerfing WW to make it equally sucky is not the solution.

And calling it OP before 99.9% of players have even upgraded more than a few TH12 defenses is just silly. I suppose it can be considered OP for 10 and 11, but there are other solutions that could have solved that problem.

Time will tell how difficult it will be to 3 star a max TH12, but I have a feeling it will be far more difficult than the majority of players want.

So much this, camps take longer than the updates been out lol. Camps and lab are priority and th now, then all the other stuff.

If it was a lab research I bet it would be 3 months before anyone researched it

Awful change to WW. Felt lvl3 was at a good place against max th11s. Max Th12 defenses are far from being the norm so with the new stats WW will be underwhelming. Wish they would have waited a while before making changes.

Not to say i agree with the balancing changes, but even now the WW adds 6100 hp and 350 dps, to your army, for zero camp space. I would even go as far as saying you are guaranteed to get past the first layer of walls 95% of the time.

I wonder if they had released the WW with the current stats, and no one ever saw the 7100hp 500dps monsters, people would still be amazed at how much the WW changed the game meta with a free almost guaranteed wall breaker for no camp space .

Your clan is way better than average, so drop all those stats down for the vast majority of players. Then consider with those reduced stats whether they really are too high for th10, which is 2 levels away from the top hall and th11, which also isn’t the top hall. Then reduce the th12 stats even further when the defense eventually catches up to the max troops you’re using.

To me the thing just wasn’t OP at th12 and all they had to do was make it only level 1 for th10 and only level 2 for th11.

Couldnt agree with you more

The nerf was too soon and SC knows it. A level 3 WW has become a level 1 WW. I’m disappointed in their decision to nerf it.multi-target infernos are still useless, bring back its ability to negate the healing effects. Kudos on increasing the collector loot.

It is worth noting that donated WW’s can be used against TH10’s - level 3’s would likely wreck them. The balance change could well be due to that...

Regardless of whether or not the WW was OP and deserved a nerf, the reasoning for it provided by Darian in this thread (that people weren’t upgrading Siege Workshop in the first 2 weeks) is ludicrous and quite frankly, insulting to our intelligence. Darian, you need to rethink your response to this.

Read through the first 21 pages and decided just time to add my two cents.

The WW was far from OP on bases that had been updated with defeating it (knowing players would go after the EA with it and a small kill squad). With one attack on th12 in war, ended up with one star and 2 star but no 3 star in war. Bases that were updated with a bit of thought about what I would target did a very good job of killing the wall wrecker and keeping it toward the outside of the base. Dead and ruched bases of course didnt do well against me (no surprise). This is attacking th11 and th12.

I tried the blimp several times and am not impressed with it. The bombs don't do enough damage and they move too fast for the other troops. Though with a bigger cc it might be useful. Meaning in reality that I am not going to be using the blimp until my cc is updated and can hold 40 troops. So all 4 gold storage and the cc must be upgraded before I am using the blimp. Assuming a good chunk of players look at it the same way I do, it is no surprise that the blimp is not being used much at all.

And if you have clan members who are a bit OCD about letting troop request remain hanging, it is not a wonder that their would be a surge in seeing only one troop being donated/used in farming, and used a lot.

Long story short buff the blimp or slow it down (or both) if you want it to be used now. Otherwise look at the data in 2 months for a true look at its usefulness. Disappointed in the nerf on the ww.

TH 10 is third tier. If the main issue some have with the WW is TH10 balance then that is laughable. If TH10 is too easy then upgrade to TH11

I went a lil hog wild on gems this update. First time I've used a lot of them to finish anything other than heroes. Big mistake. The wind has been taken from my sails, I am no longer high on the update, back to slowly grinding.

Had you used the pre-nerf lv 1 WW vs a TH12 with average upgrades? I found them pretty underwhelming at lv 1. lv3 is now weaker than lv 1 was. Coupled with Dariens lackluster nonsense justification of the changes, people feel cheated (as usual but much faster this time.)

you even don’t give people time to upgrade.
in my clan, we waited to upgrade till enough people had the workshop to distribute the load to donate. Now we all start to upgrade the workshop onze after another.

you didn’t give players time to adapt their base design. Like you said, it’s a game changer, iT requires time for the dust to fall down. Give iT the Neede time to do so?

The balance change might Be Needed, but imo doing iT now is way too fast. The data where the decision is bases upon is stil too limited.

Im just curious what "exclusion of all else" means. So blimp is all else? What are we supposed to use if not ww?

They create a new level for end-game players, give us exciting new tools that change base design and attack strategies, BUT for some bizarre reason decide that the major new piece (wall wrecker) should be available to TH10 and TH11's.

Then, a couple weeks later they totally "gut" the wall wrecker because a bunch of TH10's complained that tool is OP (and not enough people are using battle blimps). Of course, it's over-powered for TH10 and poorly developed TH11's but the point is that it SHOULD be because if it's not then it's useless against max TH12 defenses.

SC clearly could care less about max players as all the perks and decisions are being made to benefit lower levels. Don't get me wrong I was all for training time reductions at lower levels for the good of the game - - the hero grind wasn't something that I would wish on others. But making content decisions for TH12's based on how TH10's feel is too much for me.

I hope they spend well because my wallet just closed. I'll coast along as a freebie player until the group SC so clearly cherishes catches up.

The gaps in Darian's logic are pretty hilarious. As you point out I also use spells in every raid so I guess those should be totally nerfed as well. Also my heroes, I use them in every raid so they are obviously destroying the game's dynamic and should be nerfed because can you imagine what a level 60 AQ would do to a TH10 (but lets not nerf them until enough TH12's gem and toil to get their heroes to 60/60/30 because, well there's money to be made before we take the toys back).

I think SC might have been better off not trying to explain this one. Though making a level 3 wall wrecker weaker than the level 1 version I started with two weeks ago makes the time I've spent upgrading seem pretty funny in a really sad way.

I am a little bitter toward all the "told you so conspiracy theorists" saying the nerf was obvious, but only because in my heart I know they were right.

I know this can't have been your only evidence for nerfing the ww, but the depth of your explanation makes it seem like it was a significant factor. I can't speak for other th12s, but the reason I haven't upgraded my workshop has nothing to do with the strength of the wall wrecker, but rather the many other uses I have for the 9 million elixir and builder time it would cost to do so. Between the lab, camps, gold storages, and my loon upgrade, I just haven't had the resources for this upgrade yet.

Sadly this is a common occurrence, they give us something strong and great, wait a couple weeks (like miners, like valks, like bowlers, and witches, i can go on and on) let us waste our gems, as supercell is just PUMPING gem offers in the game like never before. They get their $ and now they nerf it into oblivion. I wish this cycle would stop.

You hit it right on the head, I didn't upgrade my siege workshop because when there is this BIG of an update, people focus on camps, storage's and essentials to let them get to those other upgrades.

The siege is last priority for a builder and elixer, but SC just assumed everybody was using its OP nature and ignoring it. 100% dead wrong, you nerfed it into a dark hole where its essentially useless now and gets melted like butter based on that assumption that is wrong. Maybe dont make it the indestructible tank it was that just drilled a hole straight to the core, but dont rip its heart out and make it useless either. You barley let enough time for the natural players (non gemmers) to get their camps/gold/lix/barracks/lab done. How can you honestly make that determinations when a bigger army size is everybodies top priority.

I think this thread should be reedit the title.

When i read the ( COMING SOON ) i feel like this update not release yet.

Absolutely agree with this suggestion!! It would appease the OP claimers (most likely Th10s)
Seriously can not believe how heavy handed this nerf has been and it has ruined what has so far been an exciting update.

The main problem was making the WW available to low level town halls. The nerf should've come as a restriction to be available only to th12s.

I'm sure the old WW stats isn't OP for th12s as my mid th10 could sometimes handle it. Emphasis on sometimes because most of the times i got 3 starred by fellow th10s, which brings us to the first issue: restricting WW to th12.

when the update came out I was fully stocked in resources, books, potions, runes etc, you name it, I had it, I was so very ready to pull the trigger. And then finally it came, so I immediately upgraded my TH. Now the difference between me and a lot of others is, I didn’t use my books to finish the TH immediately, instead I painfully waited the 2 wks, partly because I was in a league clan that wasn’t entirely sure how the TH12 was going to be incorporated. So I watched, and twitched as I seen others gleefully pulling the trigger and throwing their gems and books at everything! Believe me, it took a lot for me to not use my books, but I wanted to save them for the bazillion other things that would need to be upgraded, because yes I knew I would have to endure yet another long boring grind of all the levels of defences and lab work yet again!. But still I waited and watched as the lvl3 siege machine was used, it was ferocious, cutting through bases like it should, glorious I thought to myself. But these were bases that were not yet fully developed and not designed properly to endure the new machines. The talk going on was absolutely fantastic, strategists trying to figure out how to incorporate this machine into battle, base builders scrambling to figure out the best ways to detour this machine! The game was alive again, at the beginning of summer, usually the slowest time for game play, wonderfully alive! Finally my TH finished and I slapped some real money down to get the upgrade pack! Where to begin I thought to myself? Well don’t put the workshop down just yet, it may add to much weight, so wait, what else do I have to do first I’m saying to myself? The cc of course, the lab absolutely! camps, have to do them too, but damn 9 million and 2 wks.... uggghh.... ok, do the traps, no weight and the new tesla too! so much to do I’m thinking, so little time, where do I use my books, my runes?!? oh my....... so much to do....... but I’m plugging along, thinking I will get there eventually.... damn, I’m thinking, I haven’t even started a troop upgrade yet, can’t afford it..... have to raid.... so much raiding to do.....

all of this has been going on steady since the update dropped, what a month ago? not even? and then BAMM out of the blue, SC decides that the machines require such a drastic nerf and ITs require a buff!? when the majority of people haven’t even hardly started their upgrades!! I haven’t even got one troop done yet!!!

You’re killin me guys......... how can the average player even properly discuss the game when we don’t even get a chance to hardly play with the new toys? I can’t even fathom how many gems it would’ve taken for someone to get to max 12 by now, but that’s what it would take in order to properly test the game out.

sorry guys, but this is a big fail in my opinion, you need to relax a little bit and let us common folk catch up some, you aren’t giving us time to even enjoy the game, and if you get the balancing where the defence is stupidly hard, a lot of us are going to quit you.

Supercell giveth, and then supercell taketh away... does seem awfully quick this time around tho. I haven’t even had time to upgrade the siege workshop yet, they usually wait until I’ve got something upgraded before they nerf it

My clan mate just used lvl3 WW in war and it should do 3500 dmg vs walls, but it took down lvl9 walls, which has 4000 hp, in one hit. Anyone care to explain?

Did so in game Rap. 3500 is damage per second but rate of attack of WW is slower than that. Each hit does 4550 to walls. So level 9s get 1 shot. Level 10s are the first to take 2.

As stated by many, think the nerf a little too hard to the WW, to the point of not cooking them or using them -regular CC drop for me (unless war attack).

Suggest a rebalance to your balance
