Limit on friend requests from stalkers

There needs to be a limit on how many friend requests someone can send to you.

First of all I don’t even understand why these folk send them in the first place.
They apply to join the clan, if you reject them you instantly get a friend request.
Why? Am I supposed to think, oh look he wants to be my friend. I’m going to ignore his TH9 with th4 defences and let him in after all. Seriously, I’ve got friends that are not on my friends list so why does anyone think that will work?

Back to the point. So you inevitably reject their friend request. Anything from 5 to 60 seconds later you get another. And so the cycle continues.
I’ve even tried accepting them, then waiting 30 minutes and removing the friend. They still request again. it is ridiculous.

If someone rejects a friend request, you cant request again.
Even if for 24 hours, same as being kicked out of a clan, at least give us a cooldown but ideally they should be blocked from requesting again.

If you just leave the friend request pending they can’t request again. That’s what I do. Maybe once a month I’ll go through and reject old ones and I usually never hear from them again.

I am in a family of clans with friends across the clans. New members also like to try and friend you. But if you leave these unknown players requests open, now genuine friends are blocked from requesting.

I have in the past tried leaving them for a while, it works, but why should I be blocked from using game features because of some stalker? The stalker is the one who should be dealt with.

this has been requested multiple times on the forum... for now I do like bigdome just leave it pending and that it until it gets addressed...
