Tournaments

I know it takes some time to read but please read it! I think it's a really cool idea and I want it in the next update!
(word in this font are edited and usually placed at bottom if its not a grammatical error/ spelling error or if its in red its also new)

This new feature will allow you to enter tournaments with your clan. You can go solo or with your clan. In tournament two clans/person will face a computer building and/or they will be given a challenge (like build a th 10 base to protect yourself from a computer horde of enemies) After one loss you and your team are eliminated. (there will be skill levels you can choose which skill level you want for example if you are town hall level 5 you can choose- level 5-10 or everyone style) everyone style is when any player can enter. When entering a tournament you/your clan is asked to make a bid. You have to give 10000 gold and elixir to join (you can put more in) and once there is a winner they get all of the resources and a one week shield plus 1000 gems split equally amongst all player(s)! Gems may be allowed if SC wants to add them in for the victors and they will be split amongst the top ten players in the clan (maybe gems If someone wants to donate I don't know) (dark elixir is also allowed to be given for bidding) You are going to do different challenges to get to the top!



Each game takes place exactly 24 hours after the tournament has started (the tournament starts and a game starts then 24 hours later another game takes place), you are given a shield for the entire tournament so you cannot be raided to keep resources high. During the tournament you can exchange troops and give resources. Everyone is given a 100 troop clan castle (if playing with clan). You can raid whoever you are facing during the 24 hours. After each challenge (as descripted below) you see which clan/person you are facing and you are allowed to raid them without loosing your shield. During raids while a tournament is at hand all resources are up for grabs and trophies no matter what if you three star someone 100 trophies to you! (If you do not three star the base you only get the resources -100 trophies.)





challenges are as followed:
-Raid- You will try to get the highest percentage on a base (all percentages are added up from clanmates if you have any) The base will be randomly generated from whichever skill level you are playing as example level 4 get to face town hall level four bases that are completely maxed out (everyone level is from th 4-10!)

-building challenge- you and your clanmates (if you have any) make a base design together (with whichever level your leader is you are playing as that town hall maxed. You have 45 minutes. Then you get your troops (all troops take one second to train but still have the same cost in tournaments) and raid each others base. You and your clanmates attack at the same time on the same base with all of your troops. each person gets their troops. you have a tournament chat with only people in your tournament. whoever has higher percentage wins the challenge!

-spell attack- all of your clanmates (only during this challenge are allowed infinite spell space) The spells take one second to create but still cost the same amount of resources and during this time a new spell which spawns in one of every warrior lvl one but costs 1000 dark elixir. You then face their clan leaders/persons base with all of your spells. (the troops spell you are allowed to rearrange how your troops come out like golem, giant, wall breaker etc. whoever gest a higher percentage continues.

-Troop vs Troop- You face an opponent and you have 9 minutes to set up a base that crosses only three long and the entire right or left side. Then in the middle there is a level 11 wall separating the two sides. You and your clanmates/person will take all of your troop spots and place your troops you break through the middle wall and fight the opponent. In this case Goblins think Archers are storages so they attack them and deal 2x damage to them. Giants think barbarians and hog riders are defenses so they attack then WB are the same with walls. You have 2 level 8 air defenses and 5 level 12 cannons and 2 level 12 archer towers. PLACE THEM CAREFULLY the enemy may take them out! The only way to win is to make one of your troops cross the enemies wall! Air troops are allowed to attack each other!(balloons only drop bombs on ground troops, Dragons attack both, minions attack both, and healers only heal ground troops not air troops.)

-Computer challenge- your clan will have 10 minutes to train troops and spells (troops and spells take 1 second to train) then a copy of an average th6 base will be created you have 5 MINUTES to destroy the base HAS TO BE 2 STARS.Then an average th7 base will be created then a th8 base. (EVERYONE IS ALLOWED TO ATTACK, YOU ARE ALLOWED TO CHAT IN YOUR CLAN CHAT WHILE RAIDING.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING EACH ROUND?
well what happens is its an elimination so you loose one challenge and you are disqualified.
FIRST ROUND
10 games
SECOND ROUND
5 games
THIRD ROUND
hmmm interesting 2 games but before that... one person/clan will be disqualified. FROM... in the tournament tab a computer will say EARLY CHALLENGE (3 hours before the real challenge)
you and you clanmates/just you will face goblins in a troop vs defense challenge. Your clan leader decides who's base defenses to use. then you have 1 minute to place all defenses then goblins will release 300 goblins and then de troops. First person/clan to loose will be disqualified.
Fourth round
1 game
Fifth round
WINNER/WINNERS TAKE EVERYTHING AND IS DECLARED IN GLOBAL (or clan name is declared in global)!!!!!

HOW TO SIGN UP AFTER A TOURNAMENT IS DECLARED?

you open the message saying
"do you wish to join ____ tournament?"
press the join button and you are entered.
then 24 hours later the first challenge will take place 10 minutes before the computer will choose game type and who you face.



and spell ideas read that too but you are not allowed to place in the center of a base only where regular troops spawn!

not all clanmates need to be on for the next challenge

the tournament league after each victory gives 150000 gold 150000 elixir and 1000 de
Only in play if you are in a tournament league playing as level 8-10 if lower you stay in your league.

new feature! you can show off your victory in tournaments to global!

people are allowed to spectate and bid!

a max of 20 clans/people may compete

meaning 10 games the first round etc.

Spectators are allowed to record and put in gems in return they are given a one week shield (10 or more gems)

A TOURNAMENT WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY SENDING EACH CLAN A MESSAGE EACH WILL START AT THE BEGINNING OF A SEASON AND END AT THE END OF A SEASON. APPROXIMATELY 45 TOURNAMENTS WILL TAKE PLACE. (OR MORE TOURNAMENTS) EACH TOURNAMENT CHALLENGE WILL TAKE PLACE 24 HOURS AFTER THE LAST USUALLY WILL BE AT 7:00.

PEOPLE WHO LOOSE A ROUND ARE EXITED FROM THE TOURNAMENT BUT THEY STILL HAVE TOURNAMENT CHAT TAB.

in the tournaments you will be placed with people that have the same trophy number and/or clan trophy number. Then you will be placed with people in the same time zone.

THERE IS GOING TO BE A TOURNAMENT TAB TO TALK WITH EVERYONE IN YOUR TOURNAMENT.
IN THE COMMENTS TELL ME IF THIS IS A BAD IDEA

if your clan drops 1000 trophies then they are disqualified from the tournament so keep defenses high and raid the right way! (If clan leagues are put in then if a clan drops a clan league they are disqualified from the tournament.

I have to go now but I will add more challenges asap! thank you for looking and if you have suggestions please tell me I will be more than happy to make those changes!

Doesn't seem like there's a way to exploit it, no way to win easily...sounds all right to me.

Love the idea, hope it gets added, but 10,000 trophies is way to much for a win, I could win 1 tournament myself then I would shoot up to champion and be about 5,000 trophies above everyone. So 10,000 trophies is a little op, so maybe gems instead.

I like the idea but there is one flaw, you said 10000 trophies would be split among the winners. Imagine two bronzes win their tournament, well they each get 5000 trophies and become the number one players. Even if a full clan won the tournament that would still be 10000/50=200 trophies to every person in the winning clan and that is alot to me to win.

if you look the clan does have the advantage if you have 50 people with approximately 200 troops plus spells against just around 50 troops attack each other on foot/raid each other the clan has the advantage but I see your point I will lower the trophies thank you guys for feedback!

I've only skimmed this thread, but I can see one big problem. I apologise if it has been covered.

Every trophy you win is deducted from your opponents' trophies. So if your clan wins 1000 trophies, someone has to lose 1000 trophies.

Mr H the reason someone needs to loose trophies then you can get them disqualified. with the -100 trophies.

Tridad are you sure SuperCell will allow 4000 gems to given to winners and I am assuming tournaments can happen a lot. How do they happen?

Good idea, but 4000 gems is to much. (Think dividing that 4000 gems into the top 10 people in your clan everyone would get 400 gems! And if you don't have a clan and you go solo then you get 4000 yourself! No one would ever buy gems again if there is 4000 gems. maybe lower it down to 500 or 750 gems, but everything else is great!

Love the idea. Only thing I'd say is you can't split teams/people up by trophy count. To easy to drop count.
