Missing league badge not caused by season reset

Ok.. Can someone explain please.

I finished the League at 6050.. When the League finished, everything was reset, i was put down to 5000, my donations were 'zeroed' my stats came up to show my 6050 cups and i was without a League. I attacked and got 7 cups, went to 5007 and had the Legend shield. I then defended and got a minus 30 and went down to 4977. As soon as i logged in to check, i was at 4977 without a shield? I then wrote to SC in game , got no reply and proceeded to attack. Got a 100% +6 and now im a Titan1 at 4983 trophies??
I have sent the screens to SC, but still no anwser.

Why did this happen?

His question is different:
1. league rest to 5000 no shield
2. attack, 5007 trophies, placed in legend league with the shield showing for the the league (correct? or do you mean the protective shield - can't be because you don't get a protective shield for attacking, so you must mean you got the shield for being in legends!)
3. defence, 4977 trophies with no league any more (this is the strange bit - why did he lose his league?)
4. attack, 4983 in titan I

No idea why it should happen, I've had a similar problem in other leagues where the first attack after the reset didn't seem to register properly.

Edit: The word shield in OP is unclear, as it can mean the protective shield and the shield showing your league - can you please confirm whether my interpretation is correct (even though I can't solve problem, only support can do that probably!)

After the reset, i was without a league at 5000. I attacked, got a 100% for 7 and was at 5007 with the LEGEND League Purple badge.. After 1 defence i went down and was at 4977 without a League.. Really weird and frustrating after such a long season and staying up all night.
Tech support gives no answer. Was hoping someone here, from SC, could give me a better one.

If you're sitting, currently, at less than 5,000 trophies after your base was attacked why would you expect to still have a Legends league placement? Legend is 5,000+ and you're below that.

Everything is a little wonky after the league reset process starts. Large player base/ distibuted platform. It takes a few hours for it to settle back to normal.

I'm guessing they were under the impression that the -100 that goes for lower leagues (I'm not demoted until I'm more than 100 trophies below the max for the previous tier), also applies for Legend. From what I've seen, it doesnt [feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, never been in legends and have no urge to do it].

Also, the whole 'reset' thing takes hours to complete across the large numbers of accounts worldwide, might be that the account got caught in the middle of an operation on the DB?

Bud, from 5000 without a League, to 5007 and League status acquired (Legend) to then go down to 4977 and be without a League again.. Get what i am saying?

It amazes me, how you can play this game for years without having seen the sometimes strange behaviour of league shields around the divider lines.

A few attacks or a reload of the game will usually fix things, but seriously, it's nothing to get too worried about.

Yep, it happens a lot, sometimes when you go under the fixed amount (sometime over too), then you randomly lose your shield, its a bit weird. Not something to worry about, its not something that happens a lot and you will have your legends badge back very soon.

For what it's worth; I was active during reset, got a few attacks in, then about an hour later my league badge disappeared.

We have also seen it when people were promoted or demoted somewhere during the season - all of a sudden they didn't have a shield for a while [so 'not having a shield' all of a sudden also happens in between season changes]

I encounter this before... Trophies dropped to 5,000 (Season End), did and attack and got Legend Symbol, but few minutes later stats reset (Troops and Attacks)...

I guess the resetting was still on process when he attacked and that created the issue.

Best solution IMO have a shield or guard and wait few minutes after the reset...

You can go 100 cups under and stay in legend.

Can everyone just read the issue properly before responding ?
So many nonsense posts have been removed already which was clearly lost by not reading.

As for the case itself. I don’t know what happened. League reset time does do some wonky stuff sometimes part of it corrects itself and I guess part of it usually isn’t addresses enough because in a few raids time you’d be back in legends like it never happened.

Sorry and thank you for putting the thread in the right category, and for cleaning up!
Had a great chat through in game support, and the issue has been solved. As some users mentioned, it was to do with the league resets, and in my case it happened twice. As I was told, this is a very rare and hence the reason why i have never experienced it in 5 years of gaming.
My dramatic post was also a result of a long season, long waiting times, and constant attacks by those in Much lower leagues (i was constantly getting attacked by Titan 3 players, who always get ridiculous cup stats - + 50 and - 1) 2 of my 3 defenses won were 0 and 1 cup.
Anyways, thank you to those that answered, the messages from staff and the in game chat.

While, I know the season reset time is a bit wonky. And you can lose the badge even after using two 3 attacks to regain the badge back. Thats what had happened in case of OP.

But, I just happened to a badgeless state for 5 minutes... today!

I was dropping down to bronze league. And I was at around 699 cups. When I logged back in, I found someone hitting my base and I am at 990 cups. But what surprized me is my attacks and defenses got reset for this season and there`s no badge. While, the last attack I did was only 25 minutes ago.

And while typing this post, I got my game reloaded at its back to normal shield (silver) and the attack-defense count are also back!
