Money Making with Trees

Tree's can see you making LOT's of money especially if done in bulk! Below is just some calculations to show this, and is often good to be tried, if you will only be on hay day once every day or two days. Please note the figures assume that ALL harvests products are sold and not used for production purposes.

Apple Tree

With trees and bushes, time does NOT matter because production is all in parallel (not serial). The best strategy is to plant a lot of them (enough so that some are always ready) and just pick when you choose to.

Since you need a saw/axe to complete the circle, I would advice everone who are growing fruits and berrys to grow that type that gives the most profit out of the ones you've unlocked.

Well, I'm going to admit you lost me on this one. (serial vs parallel)
I haven't looked yet but I did not think the time for growth was the same for all. With that in mind, I was going to look at what would be the most profitable to grow and sell. Time would factor into that.
And of course now since the past events helped my bottom line, I don't need a coin boost.

What he means is that you can grow 100 trees as the same time (parallel) vs. when you produce sugar where you only make 1 at the time (serial). Therefore time shouldn't matter. At the end of the cycle, you'll need 100 saws to cut down the trees. Do you want to grow something that takes a few hrs quicker to grow for less profit or just choose the fruit you can get the biggest profit from (even if it takes some hrs longer for each harvest)?

Hmm, good point. Something to think on. I'm already playing this dang game way.... waaaayyyy... too much; as in hours and hours daily. I need to back off from it........ ha ha ha ha ha ha.....

I understand about serial and parallel now. Thank you. Saws don't matter since I always have them in abundance and even sell them. Of course now I probably doomed myself on ever getting one again. LOL

Hmm, I should "curse" myself on bolts. I can't get any less. :p

Once you have planted 50 apple trees and have waited the day or so that it takes them to grow, you should always have apples on hand and the production time becomes irrelevant. You use them as you need them, or when you need to clear saws out of the barn. There is no need to harvest them when they become ripe--unlike your production machines (and unlike real apples), you can leave them on the trees for as long as you need to.

I'm glad to see the numbers. Someone told me that uou did not make as much selling the fruit as you did if you made products with it. I'm trying to get my achievement award for the fruit picker so I have been selling fruit lately. The saws is a problem though. Lol

I thought each harvest time per plant would be different, but they're all the same! So it doesn't matter if you're first planting it, or collecting for the 3rd time, the harvest time is the same.

So its blackberries and cacaos per axe/saw. My nh friend told me he prefers coffee beans because you can plant one per plot.

I believe that the data reflects the total for all 4 stages of a tree/bush. It is the total you would get from when you purchase the original sapling to when you chop it down.

Oh, I thought we didn't get coins when we harvest the trees (and bushes). I thought we just got experience points. Unless we sell them, ourselves, that is.
