Please don't hate me, but I feel people like to play computer games as an escape from real world troubles.
As noble an idea as it is I just don't think it's the right environment.
Plus it could backfire on Supercell and perhaps seem like a cheap Marketing gimmick, even though we would know otherwise.
If you search for information on Supercell you will see that they do in fact do quite a bit for charity so we shouldn't assume they're doing nothing but stuffing all that money into mattresses.
It's nice to hear people thinking of others though. I'll drop an extra few quid in the charity box next time i'm walking through town :)
Would be a great idea. Especially as christmas is near, lots of amazing charities.
Would certainly put £20+ in there.
Great Idea. But I could see doubling gem prices for the period of time where the pool is open.
I'd definitely donate gems!
I feel linking charity through SC would not really help much.

Well, there are a couple reasons why Im suggesting to donate in this style. First and foremost, a massive portion of SuperCell's players are children. By doing something like this, you're enabling them to give to others who don't have the same opportunities, and you're also teaching the kids. Second, this would be a great way to bring the SC community together, all the while creating massive publicity for SC. And lastly, and the biggest reason, is because doing a massive charity drive like this will be able to support far more than if we just tell people, "Hey, you should give to charities." The reason being is, how many Clash players do you think would actually do that, or remember to, if we just told them. By doing a massive drive like this, you're reminding people in their down time, a time when they'll be far more likely to donate.Quote:

Forgot to say if supercell would make this happen they would take away the 500 gems from everyone cos that's $5 they give you for free at the start of them game
I think supercell will want this to happen... IF they could make some money out of it. What im saying is if they release this it might go on the news ( great marketing for tjem) and that we should make it like 2 dollers for every 500 gems because this would give supercell a motive to do this since so many people will spend money to buy gems. They will make a huge profeit and also be giving quite a bit to charity. Honestly i would donate at least 5000+ gems to this is they put it in. So for supercell they make 3$ every 500 gems if i give 5000 gems thats 10 500 gems so that means 30$ for sc. While still giving charity 20$. Supercell do this!
