Hi,
Yesterday I was attacked by a user who is higher level than me and clearly has a better base than me, he was however on lower trophies when he attacked me. I lost 53 cups as he destroyed 100% of my base. Can someone, Supercell ideally, explain how is that possible or maybe clarify how number of trophies are calculated??

The only thing relevant is his trophy count. The lower and further away from you the attacker's trophy count, the more he can potentially gain from you.
It depends completely on your trophies. low trophies attacking high trophy can get more trophies from the battle. higher trophies vs low trophies is the opposite.Quote:

No record, many people revenge/have been revenged for 59 trophies, which is the most you can lose/gain from a raid.Quote:

It is one thing I have never liked about revenge. On usual terms in these middle range trophy levels you might find 33 cups max. Yet can lose nearly double if one manipulates their trophy count and later decides to revenge.
The max able to steal is 59 and the largest diff in trophies allowed in the game and still be able to attack is around 3 league lvls when out of league comes up on your screen.Quote:

Honestly, 0 trophies, and 40+ trophies, is completely pointless for both parties. Off the top of my head, I'd have no problem with a minimum of 3 cups on offer, and a maximum of 36.
p.s. I'll put my hand up as someone who's smashed a few lower TH's for well over 40 trophies after they hit masters and logged off, and also been on the receiving end of something similar when I hit Masters 2...
I am a gold ll and have about 1600 trophies and I just lost 60 trophies against a guy a couple of hours ago who has about 1590 trophies and is gold ll as well how is this possible then.😱😲
