Same issue with me. Says connection error and messes up my data for all other apps. Called my phone company and they said everything is fine on their end. Coc causes the issue whenever I launch it. I'm using an LG Stylo 2. I know y'all are on it but more info helps, right?
I have the same thing.
Samsung s3, android 4.3 so am not surprised but as other, more recent devices have had the same problem I think it isn't to do with that. Please hurry up and fix it because I have a rune of dark elixir with my name on it but after 7 days if I don't collect it...
For anyone whos having this problem I believe there is currently a maintenance break underway so keep an eye on google play and update it when it comes out as it wont show up in the game as we are not connecting at all.
(Hopefully this maintenance break will fix this bug)

Same issue. Supercell needs to explain how they allowed such sloppy code to be pushed to our phones. There is ZERO excuse for this making it past quality assurance. There is no legitimate explanation for this update knocking out both wifi and mobile data connections for the whole phone.
Supercell needs to explain what they are up to with this update. Are they adding new network tracking functionality? Are they using our data connections for unrelated tasks for collecting our private data?
This needs to be explained publicly.
Hola. Mi lg k10 tambien se queda bloqueado el servicio de conexion de red. Hasta que no quito y pongo de nuevo los datos la conexion no va. Alguien sabe algo.

Soy jugador de clash of clans desde hace tiempo nunca he tenido un problema como este y si he tenido alguno siempre me lo han solucionado de manera rapida y eficaz la gente del servicio tecnico. Por eso espero que la situacion se arregle lo antes posibles y todos podamos volver a batallar. Me he registrado en este foro de propio para poder acceder al servicio tecnico de alguna manera, puesto que antes siempre accedia por la app y ahora no se puede.

.Can not get update to work, and game won't allow any use of wifi or 4G while it's installed. Works fine when I Uninstall coc. Coc works fine on tablet and old phone android 5.1 and 5.1.1
I completely agree. No excuses what so ever for rolling out a bug-infested update potentially affecting thousands of users. How could it be that my wifi works perfectly fine, as does my cellular data, prior to loading clash of clans after updating it to the newest version, then instantly stops "working" - disabling my wifi AND data? Not to mention, it would occasionally restart my phone unexpectedly and increase lag afterwards. My phone was working fine and I'll admit it was the best performing phone but I hadn't noticed any issues with the game like this until this most recent occurrence with the th12 update. I have read way too many users experiencing similar issues and plenty other issues like clan war bugs, etc... UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE!!! something is really fishy here...Quote:

I feel that if we want a timely response from Supercell we need to make sure they know how many users are affected. Leaving a review on the Play Store is a quick way to get their attention.
I'm having the same problem on my lg.. Goes black screen and tells me I'm not connected to the internet.... Really hoping supercell fixes this soon... Need to go back to grinding my hero's out lol
This bug seems to be on every single LG phone.
In the USA LG make up 20% of phones sold. So 1 in 5 clashers in the USA cant log on and their phones are being affected. World wide it is probably a similar number.
I dont know why it is affecting cellular data when previous version did not. For some reason they felt the need to make changes to the code that connects supercell app to the servers. It may have simply been to help secure the data being transfered so that people cant make private servers. This would be a great idea. I dont think its malicious.
How it wasnt tested on any LG phone before release baffles me. How it still hasnt been fixed yet baffles me too. How they havent indicated anything about how far along in the process of fixing it baffles me further.

LG V10. I'm experiencing major connectivity issues. I've not been able to access any apps or browsers that require WiFi after updating Clash of Clans. It seems as if the update has a bug in which it is able to knock people off of the WiFi or data connections. I'm not sure how that's even possible, but since the update it's been nothing but problems for the entire phone.

I updated today but now I can no longer open COC. I try to open the game and it says "Unable to connect with the server. Check your internet connection and try again." After opening and getting rejected as said above ^ I then can no longer access anything that involves needing an internet connection. So I then have to restart my device and then I can access everything again. But if I try to open the game again, i get the same problem as I just stated. Needs a restart again...
I know a lot of people are experiencing problems, but we would be really happy if SuperCell could tell us what is going on and when we can expect to play COC again.

Attention Developers for Supercell Clash of Clans :
Look at the TCP/IP stack , because ALL the internet connected items on the phones and tablets
that run clash of clans there is problem somewhere inside the tcp stack. You have to restart the Data connection
or you have to reboot the phone once you have attempted to run Clash of Clans. I am not an app developer, but I am
a network engineer, so I understand the damages done when the TCP/IP stack crashes.

Ok since updating cant get on coc and every 3rd time i try it restarts my phone(android) as if this dont suck enough ive also had connection issues with netflix and my browser(only on the phone i updated coc on)since i updated my coc it says its my connection but other phones,computers,and tvs on the same wifi have no connection issues...

SAME PROBLEM! LG G5 here. Internet works completely fine in google chrome and youtube, for example, but as soon as coc opens then i get an error, and internet stops working for other apps. :( seems to be an LG issue.

I also have the same problem when I open the Coc app it will show the loading screen and then it will crash the game. My mobile name:micromax canvas tab,2gb ram. Sir I kindly request you to fix this problem immediately

I am having the same problem as well. Is super cell going to fix this soon. I cannot get into any of my accounts at all.
After yesterday's maintenance break, i couldn't log in to my account..i updated the app. I uninstalled the app and then installed it but I still couldn't get in my account.. It just shows SUPERCELL and then gets back to the home screen..plz do something SC.. I haven't played coc from the last 16hours...and now I m getting frustrated

Maybe try restarting your phone. It worked for me
After installing the update Clash disables my network availability. I was told by Verizon Clash was my phones issue. Had to uninstall until this bug is fixed. Any thoughts on a work around?

I have updated the app yesterday. After that app is showing the message is "unable to connect the server" and immediately internet is disconnected. If i connected through wifi phone is getting restarted. My phone is android os 5.1 and make is LG.

My game is not opening on my Samsung Galaxy a8+. When I start my game only supercell logo come then the game is stopped message come. Please supercell to solve this problem.
After the update of th12 the problem come.
By now we've all either heard or have the android infamous "cannot connect to server" screen. I've had this screen all day on my LGV10. I have worked hard and so has my clan to reach max rewards for this clan games; but becuase I can't log in i can't pick my rewards. With that in mind, are you(supercell) gonna do anything to help/fix this problem?
I have the same problem. I can connect to the game with my android tablet, but cannot with android phone LG G4 Android 6.0.
When trying to start
- my google play account name pop ups shortly
- message appears: (connection error)

- when i switch OFF+ON mobile data it starts working again

- I have uninstalled + reinstalled COC several times: no effect
I doubt that error has something to do with supercell id. When I 1st time started the tablet, game asked verification code sent by email, and after that login succeeded.
