ATM copy base layout feature only copies home villages. This is kinda sucks. Afterall not many times one needs to build a farming base. It's war bases that need constant tweaking.

Cant you get your clan mate to set their home village as their war base for a minute so you can copy it?
You can copy your village and use in war, it's just requires few more clicks
I can copy a war base to my home village (farming base) easily. Then you could copy it etc.
It's not a good idea to have two similar bases in war.If the opponent 3 star one then the other base is an easy 3 star.
If you want copy someone's war base you can ask them to temporarily set that war base as farm base.
