You sure you didn't download the bug fixing patch? Because play store isn't showing any update button to me.

Glad to see more people asking for pause of village guard, I've been asking since December 2015.

Not only of no use because no one will attack but it will not pause and be gone. No way they will finish this update in 1.5 hours. :)

Mine too. Think maintenance is still happening though.
