I Can't Take It Anymore :D

My iPod was sent away on Monday (for a refund) and my new one is not likely to arrive until Saturday. I'm in withdrawal and need to share my misery with people who will understand!

I wake up in the mornings and sit in bed with no farm to look after. I have these gaps in my day with nothing to fill them. I go to bed at night and there's no last minute farming...:(

I sit and look at my empty iPod case with tears in my eyes... (ok, that might be a slight exaggeration lol)

Has anyone else gone through a HD withdrawal time?

That would be a nightmare for me :eek::rolleyes:
Can imagine how hard it must be when you're addicted to this game :eek:

The first thing i do when i wake up in the morning is looking after my farm. Before HD it was my cigarette... ;):o

No, not yet. But I feel your pain. I am facing the same in a few weeks. And then I expect I will be feeling your pain.

I recommend either a gf or a psyholog, both would be good though

Apparently there is a cold turkey thread you can search for to help you through this. It seems like a lot of us are preparing for the possibility of being cut off from our farms at this time of year, and I read this thread helps. I haven't checked it out yet because I'm still in denial.

Nope. But, yes, I am thinking about the better iPod. At least they've finally dispatched it now... ;) Maybe it will arrive before Saturday... I doubt it, but I can hope.

I think he means a girlfriend.

I have been in a similar situation when my hotspot/wifi died. The Sprint store said it would take 2 business weeks to get a replacement. Or I could upgrade to the new version and I would get it 2-4 days. Guess who upgraded! They had me by my hay day balls. If I had any.

This is terrible..I remember once, in our house the internet connection was off during a couple of days and when i went out to meet my bf, i begged him to download the game so that i could play on his iphone..So pathetic :/

Oh Snailey, I feel your pain🙀😿😿😿😿😿😿

Lets look at this logically , what did you do before HD :confused:
If it's washing , cooking , cleaning or ironing...... Don't even think about going back there !
I have 2 children that I can loan out to you FOC ( hmmmm more time on my farm)
I have a very friendly cavalier which I can loan out to you ( much better behaved than the kids) who loves long walks .

Go and read my thread on Going Cold Turkey. That should cheer you up a little.

My advice is been strong, drink plenty ( alcohol that is) & if everything else fails...... Go & check out your nearest farm in your area, I'm sure they could find some real farming for you to do & maybe pick up a few tips in the process:cool:

Happy Helen... before Hay Day? Was there a life before Hay Day? I don't remember... and it hasn't been that long! I have looked for the cold turkey thread but cannot find it. My searching skills are probably useless.

Yeah it was Candy Crush. Before that it was Gardens of Time. Before that... erm... no I can't remember that far back.

I have had a couple of Tim's when I could not access my farm. It IS very hard. I worried about my animals. It was wonderful to get back to HD!

I had a window of several days that I could not connect to Hay Day. I, too, worried most about my animals! I'm glad to know that I am not alone. It also happened to occur during the middle of a boat event. I kept thinking about all of the new animals that I would NOT be getting, with no double vouchers coming in.

If you put in the search" going cold turkey for 48 hrs " it comes up 4/5 th on list. If I knew how to put a link for you I would, but I don't ( much too tec for me lol):cool:

Ugh, what a nightmare! Not sure which is worse, no iPad or no Hay Day!

I know first hand your pain!
I went a week earlier this month without my farm as my iPad mini's display/graphics died. It was horrible! My fellow tetchy friend and I were each trying every day to try and figure out if we could fix it, but then happened to learn that the warrantee was still good and rushed down to the nearest store and was able to get it replaced. The instant it was done restoring my stuff I instantly opened and (lol so sad) apologized to my farm for being gone so long.
