Ok HayDayers I have seen where the people's voice finally got a diamond confirm button, now I think we need to protest the amount of time that it takes to make sugar and butter....let's stand together and ask SC to shorten the amount of time needed for these items....we just want to make more products and play the game.....

I haven't seen a confirmation to use diamonds except on the diamond ring. I'm constantly using diamonds by mistake to speed up production and it drives me crazy.
There's a general diamond confirmation button on the super fishing net, but I think most of us are still waiting for the general role out of the confirmation button for everything. Personally, I agree that once you have mastered all thee stages on the sugar mill and opened all your slots, the lead time for sugar products isn't bad. My barn is overflowing with sugar products, but I still keep making them cos of the paranoid psychosis remaining from working my way through the lower levels unassisted. My big gripe now is how long it takes to make the soy sauce that so many of the new products require! And jam! Jam takes too damn long as well!Quote:

I'd just rather not have boats with dairy and sugar mills ; either that or much less. (When they first decreased it ,it was like 14-16 brown sugars to 8-11/14? Still very high :l)
But after you finish the mastery, butter only takes 25 minutes so I don't think it's too bad. Most people can max their dairies to 9 slots by the time they're lvl 30-40 ish (without spending real $$) 3-4 hours for 9 butter? I think it's fine, imo.
I mean, everyone's always waiting to make Jams too but those still take 6 hours. each. :<
After mastering the sugar mill and the dairy (and they were the first ones to get the mastering), it's not that bad, in my opinion. I would rather protest that it takes so long time to produce jam.
That's so funny because the exact same thing happened to me. My baby farm got it while my main didn't :( That sucks since I mainly play on my main farm and would've been able to benefit from it much more. However, I've opened a lot of extra queue slots for my machines on baby farm and I love the double-tap mechanism. It works great!Quote:

Sure it's hard. That's the idea if a resource and time management game...to learn the skills required and put them to use to succeed in the game. Without learning the skills and utilizing them properly, control will never be achieved no matter how much production time is reduced nor how many duplicate machines they let us have.
Max out your production slots. Choose a minimum of all items to keep in your barn at all times as a buffer for emergencies and only sell, fill boats, or neighbor crates with the items when you have over that amount. STOP production until your minimum supply of all ingredient items (dairy, sugars, soy) are reached. Such ingredients should be double the minimum of finished products. Choose a small amount over that buffer of ingredients to use in production and replace as you use it. Never leave any machine idle. If you don't need what you produce, sell it. Only use dairy and sugar to fill neighbors crates if you have an excess well over your buffer and production minimum. Think twice before filling dairy and sugar boats...will you be able to recover your supply quickly? If not, sent that boat down river. Same with soy when you reach that point.
It will take a few days or a couple of weeks, but once you're settled in a routine, you'll roll along and be surprised at how well you can get along with how long things take now and with only the one mill and dairy. I've been filling neighbors boats again with sugar as I've got more now than my barn can hold. Dairy...well, it was the same until the new products. I've still not gotten the routine right for the extra drain on my goat cheese, but I'll almost there.
I got the confirmation button to test on my secondary game too...still nothing on my main game. Funny enough I still haven't even looked at it or even tried it out on my secondary game...:rolleyes:
Sugar doesn't really take that long when you really think about it. Syrup does but you can put that on over night or when you will be away from the game for longer periods of time. Dairy is the same. Cream & butter do not take all that long to make either and cheese can be put on over night. If you stop making dairy or sugar items for a couple of days you can really build up quite a stockpile of sugar and dairy products.
I have not been able to play much recently as my game centre just refuses to connect with Hay Day. So I hardly can find any boats to help fill. My boats have all been soy sauce, sugar or dairy boats. So I have been casting most of them off. But I have been able to stockpile so much syrup that I was able to fill a boat order for syrup as well as help out a follower who as asking for syrup as well. I also had so much butter and cheese that I was able to help fill some boats in the DD asking for those. So I wouldn't sign a petition asking for the prep time for sugar and dairy to be cut short.
I would sign a petition asking that all sugar and dairy boats be banned, though! Or that when they do come along they only ask for one sugar or dairy per crate- maximum being 3 crates asking for 1 dairy or sugar product each - for any boat.
