I wouldn't recommend that unless you have the saws to get rid of them, and besides, you get more profit from finished products.
Agreed. I think there was a thread somewhere else that outlined the returns on each of the fruit bearing plants and found that apples were actually the best investment.
But even with that in mind, 500 trees will take up a HUGE amount of space on your farm, and saws are not readily available for purchase most of the time.
500 trees is a lot of wood.
And you probably won't notice it yourself, but -for me at least- people with a huge amount of trees lag while loading. Everything happens in slow motion on those farms. Filling a crate, reviving a tree, opening a toolbox. Not really fun paying a visit.
But I think ppl who still need to achieve Green Thumb would love your farm ;-)
500 trees is a way to get both exp and coins relatively fast, I wouls say that only go for it if you have the saws to get rid of all thoose trees later on.
I agree with the others...I don't even have that many trees on my farm all combined! I like to have about 8-10 of each type of tree, but just a couple days ago, I planted other trees in little available spaces, just for a few more. I also only harvest the fruit when I need more, usually clearing only 2-3 trees at a time. This way, I don't go through all 4 harvests the moment the fruit is ready, and I don't need to cut them down and plant more to replace them as often, which allows me time to save up the saws that drop while I work my farm. :)
