New Defense: Wardsman Tower
The Wardsman Tower will be a unique defense. Instead of firing at troops, it fires at spells. It will be a 3x3 defense unlocked at townhall 8 because there are no new defenses currently unlockable at that townhall level.
The Wardsman shoots down any spell that is dropped within range of its tower. Meaning, if an attacker drops a spell that would be centered on a spot within the wardsman's firing range, the spell will be destroyed before it hits the ground. The Wardsman can be configured to destroy different spells. The higher the level of the tower, the more spells that can be selected. Meaning, at level one, the tower can be set to shoot at one of the four spells (freeze cannot be destroyed. It was meant to freeze defences and that still goes for the Wardsman tower. Otherwise, inferno towers would always ruin a raid.) At level two, two spells can be selected, and so on. The max level will be three until more spells are released into the game. Only one tower can be built regardless of townhall level.
The initial build makes sense to cost about 2 million considering the cost of surrounding new defenses. I think...

It would have a relatively short range. I think it should be about the same as a wizard tower.
Hp should be around 700. Seems pretty average, and this would allow lightning spells to destroy it when the tower is not set to them.
This spell will add more strategy to the game and fill the gap at townhall 8 for new defenses. This tower can be used to keep your attackers heros from being enraged, your dark elixir storage from being struck by lightning, a section of walls safe from jump spells, and many more possibilities. The Wardsman Tower would be a very exciting addition to the game.
