Troop training delay

Greetings everyone, this is my first post on the forum. Since the last maintenance break I noticed an alarming bug in regards to the training of my troops. Today I started training a golem at 6:05 and planned for it to be finished at 6:50 since it takes 45 minutes to create. I remember this because I had to leave my house at 7 and thought to myself I would have exactly 10 minutes to raid before I had to leave. Anyways my golem didn't finish until 6:55. This means that my golem took 50 minutes instead of 45! I thought this might have been own mistake so I carefully timed the training time of a pekka and it ended up taking around 3 minutes longer than it should have. Is this just normal behavior based on other factors or simply a glitch? Thanks for reading and cheers!

i doubt that anyone here will know, if this bug gets worst and really bothers you try contacting supercell support.

Yes, this is a real thing that happens to everyone. I am beginning to think it is on purpose so that supercell can make more money with gems. It also happens with builders. It seems as if around 3-5 seconds are added to all timed constructions/Barracks for each time you log in.

It's exactly like the builder lag. Supercell have some difficulties why their clocks. I hope it can be ruled out soon.

well, seeing as the thread ZB linked to STILL hasn't been re-named, I am glad someone else has started this. But be prepared for this thread to be merged or closed because of it.

This is known as TIME LAG...not builder lag...there are no builders here. As mentioned before, SC can't tell the time very well, or at least struggle to program it. This is of course better than the alternative.

Now you've noticed this, be warned that you'll notice all of your builds, training, resource gathering etc... being laggy.

Possibly barring the shield, time lags throughout the rest of the game.

Ok well it would seem this is a long-standing issue then. I'm really surprised I just noticed this as I feel it could be a big problem for some people who like to methodically build their base. Thanks for the replies everyone.

Nothing else to add, since everything has been said, other than informing other players about this issue and joining the other thread, which is (purposely?) named wrong, as THIS thread proves.

This issue is over a year old (maybe was always there, on purpose) and Supercell will not do ANYTHING about it.
