i didn't say that the 90% are the android players the 90% includes the android players but also the other players that didn't start CoC at launch date there are quite a some players (IOS) that started playing 2,3 months after release and those people are right now probably between a max TH8 or middle based TH9
You guys realize that "14 days" is actually probably more like 15 or 16 because of inflation.
With the introduction of TH10 the upgrades have cost less as well as taken a lot less time to upgrade. They have also reduced a lot of costs and times for certain upgrades. TH9 peaked with 2 week upgrades and 8m upgrades and since then they have reduced times and costs significantly.
I started playing CoC in January 2013, and got a clue on how to play more effectively a few months after that... I'm now well into TH9, and I only play a little in the morning, and 2-4 hours most nights, at most. I've got my first 14 day upgrade completing soon, and have no problem with that, tessla level 7 are awesome and well worth the waiting time; as soon as one finishes I'll put the next one on... You see, the longer build times actually help me out, I don't have to raid so hard to keep my 5 builders going. If everything was like a cannon, with a high cost and low build time, I'd go crazy trying to raise all that gold so fast, or have idle builders!
Having looked around the higher trophy levels, up to 2822, I can see loads of players have been at this game longer and/or harder than I have. The gemmers are usually pretty obvious, but there are also loads of hard-core farmers who have really well advanced TH9 and TH10, and you can them happily upgrading still. I'm sure if they were unhappy, they would have quit long ago...
It's a fatal dream, to believe you can play casually and reach the "end game", or even that you should... there are so many more who play harder, longer, and better. Maxed out TH is for people prepared to pay - plain and simple. Hard-core farmers swho do not want to play, but have andless time to invest instead, can get somewhat close, but will never max out before the next upgrades come out. That's just the reality of these games, it's the commercial model that keeps them available to enjoy for those of us who choose to pay nothing, or very little.
Personally, I suspect the people complaining about 14 day build times, have never actually got close to that point yet, so are complaining about something they have no personal experience on....
