You mean the one where they are reducing upgrade times and where upgrades of buildings that previously took 2 weeks also take 2 weeks and not more?

The rest are my argument against yours which makes no sense, you are claiming outright that there is going to be no upgrade time longer than 14 days based on the fact that there are no buildings that takes longer than 14 days.

I am making no such claim. I am saying that it is silly to argue that times will increase when everything currently points to the contrary.

Before TH9 came out, if I'm not mistaken, the highest upgrade time was around 1 weeks. Did you believe the upgrade time was capped at 1 week just because no other buildings took longer than that at that time?

If no upgrades take longer than a week, than the upgrade cap is a week. That is the definition of a cap.

The first two week upgrade was released in January. We have gone 10 months with many upgrades along the way, including a TH10 upgrade and upgrades to buildings that previously took 2 weeks. None of them have taken longer than 2 weeks. This is a much longer period than the 4 month period before it where the cap increased frequently.

Again remember that your claim is that if things keep going like they are going, we will "soon" see upgrade times of a month or more. This might have been a valid argument to make in January. Not now, since there has been zero evidence of that in the last 10 months.

Progression in this game is anything but linear.

So the from what I read so far i didn't even see 1 single argument why 14 days for a builder is a good think all I've seen is people saying things like : I'm okay with 14 days , why change 14 days upgrade now i waited 14 days for something and so should they . And people just bashing others that have a VALID reason for wanting the build time cap lowered to like 7 or so, so far no real arguments to defend 14 day upgrade time its just sad that the people bashing others on their opinion can't even think of one :/

When I do this, all of the comments are directed to the same post. I do this because I can counter each point more easily without having to copy and paste open/close quote tags around each paragraph.

I don't do this if I am replying to multiple folks at once...that would be completely impossible to follow. :)

In short it's because I'm lazy.

No, you don't need to. All need is to add the first close quote tag.

Then for subsequent quotes, you only need to highlight the text, and click on "Quote" icon. And it would automatically add the open/close quote tags around the highlighted text.

true but your telling me you are okay with being a few Town hall levels lower than what the game ends at ? I think that most player want to be able to have a max base or one that can compete with people in high trophy levels , besides shaving off like 4-5 days isn't going to make the game easier and having 14 days upgrade times doesn't make it harder either it just makes it annoying to wait that long and impossible of having the dream of eventually catching up(without gems) to other people the best getting like 4-5 days off could do is like 3 months or so maybe a little more or less and if you can't have a "maxed" base whats the point of even playing if you can't be one of the best ?

Valid reason? What valid reason?

SC has stated openly that it cannot reduce time or cost drastically from existing ones. It will anger players who just upgraded. So they would only do small adjustments one at a time.

So from 14 days to 7 days? Forget it, it will never happen. Expect like 14 days to 12days or in that range.
