E for Extra Town Hall level
I didn't bother reading all 68 pages but I'm betting the E is energy.
They want to spark new life into the game. A new TH is cool and all but the resources are the same (elixirs and gold). I think aside from dark elixir they will add an energy type resource. It could be added to all levels not just us max th11s, and it's a new twist as opposed to adding same old thing.
Energy could be used for enhanced troops, enhanced spells, or even if say being able to level up the king and queens ability. (Lvl 50 queen with level 20 cloak).
