You may want to wait for the next update, your freshly engineered account may not be as helpful as you might think!
(please SC, please :) )
Either you, or your clan mates, learn how to attack. Much better (and fairer) way of helping out in wars imo.
Engineered bases are becoming more and more obsolete every update. Supercell is tightening matchmaking algorithm every balancing update to take away advantage from them
It's a losing battle. Not worth the effort any more
At each th, max your storages, barracks, camps, cc and lab.
You can skip buying and upgrading collectors if you farm alot.
Never buy or upgrade any kind of traps, walls, defense, keep that cannon at lvl 1.
Is this a troll posting? Surely this the one thing in the forums to get people's ire up!
This is one form of engineering, called defenseless, and it is not the most effective kind.
OP, if you are part of a successful engineering clan, they will be able to help guide you with what to build and when. To be most successful requires consideration of the rest of the war roster. If you aren’t part of an engineered clan, then frankly it isn’t really worth engineering in my opinion other than maybe building a 9.11. Also, SC has said a significant change to war is coming this year that will make engineering a disadvantage. Whether that will happen or not, I don’t know, but I would keep it in mind on your new account.
step one is to load 6 bullets
I think this is what you are looking for here
Some of the info may be out of date, but it should give you the general idea.
The minimax work better you build only a few defenses but max them so you get shield and maintain a decent cup range. Remember you re only as good in war as your everyday raid. You cant be a good war player if you only attack in crystal despite TH11 troops.
A lot of that was out of date when posted though. Very few think defensless is a good idea at all now, much less the best form of engineering.
OP if you're starting from scratch you've got a ton of time to figure it out. Pick one farm army and max it, rush like crazy otherwise to at least th7, maybe th8. If SC's rumored engineer killing feature drops along that time, you haven't ruined the account.
Otherwise have your endgame in mind and be disciplined. What TH will be your target? Long term you want an army that can smash it, and you want enough defense to be almost immune to it.
