Because the little ppl usually ask for the two highest items in quantity in either barn or silo OR ask what you have zero of. If the number of eggs you have in stock are in the middle of that, they will never ask for them.

I do what you do; let the little people buy my eggs. But I first sold them in the dd because my barn wasn't big enough to hold them all while waiting for an offer from them. That still happens sometimes. But otherwise it was sell them at default price to move them fast because I needed my bins to sell other stuff. love how this game makes you strategize. And I love how many playing styles there can be.
