Why isn't there a way to get free gems through watching videos? Hear me out..

Ok so i have been thinking about this for a very long time and haven't found a reason why it would be wrong as it would help SC they would get payed to make other apps more famous, like you would get a gem per video seen and you could only get (x) number of gems per day, like I don't know maybe 5 gems maximum per day. This would very much help SP as they could make other apps and advertise them, now they would get more money by charging other apps for being ardvertised here, this is a very good idea, i think, so since we know many peopleplay this, the advertising would be very helpful to SP the people and the people that play this. Now i'm not sure if this has been said or not but i hope this can be applied to the game. Hope ya'll like it and i would like some feedback on whether 5 is too low or too high or what it should be please dont judge me if this has already been said :D

Oh i forgot to say it would be very good if the SP people would look at this so hope ya'll see it and keep it up as #1 so the moderators can tell SP to apply this

imo, for positive user experience SC has implemented an almost zero advertising policy in COC.

If you're in desperate need of gems, there are multitudes of app trials that pay in itunes credit so go there instead of polluting everyone else's visual clean experience.

you mean clash of clans will never do that no matter how much prifit they could make? havnt you thought how much more extra money they would make if this was to be applied??

i really dont care how much money they make i want free gems just saying :D

I am actually okay with this idea, if it is implemented, I just hope this isn't a kind of bridge to supercell shoving pop ups and pre roll ads in our faces.

Without getting into Supercells financial / astronomical success its worth mentioning that pop up adds or click to get or watch to get items in game are , not really required at this stage in life for SC .

I don't know why they haven't done this, they would make more money from other company's wanting to advertise there games, If they got 1-5 gems per video then that would be a nice little thing to speed up something.

If you want to watch videos and get gems free, download the app called "apptrailers" You earn points for each video you watch. Once you get 10,000 points you can buy a $10 itunes card with the points. That's 1200 gems for just watching videos.

The main reason I like this game is that their are no advertisements. I hate getting bombarded by ads and quite frankly i hate them. Plus they wont fit on the screen, if they were on the screen it would be a major inconvenience.

Absolutely! - no ads thanks.

They have a few options to include advertising and they are all terrible.
1) pop ups - perhaps after hitting next
2) on screen banners where there's already little enough space
3) start up screen
4) in game 'sponsorship' - the 'CocaCola Spell Factory', the 'BMW Dark Barracks'
5) company logos as clan banners

The gemmers are paying for everyone to play... let's keep it at that!

(actually #4 and #5 wouldn't bother me so much, it would be kinda funny!)

I think 4 and 5 would be great ideas, very funny. Maybe even a coke spell?

Back on track now I think advertising is a HORRIBLE idea it would completely RUIN the game,e,

Ok so I heard a few months ago that sc was bringing in 2.3 mil a day. They had 100 employees at that point in time. Divided equally, thats 23k a day each which is more than some people earn a year. I think they are already bathing in cash and ads would not help the flow.

Agree free gems for adds

Why not? Other apps do it (like temple run). Gems greatly enhance the game play. But it should be like5 gems a video and like 20 gems for a Facebook like of said advertiser.
