My clan's thoughts as well. Weak rewards + 7 days to get 30,000 points = lame.

And stop with the "if you don't like the rewards don't play the game" chorus already. Yes, we will collect the rewards (in about 1 day); and yes we are unenthused by this challenge. It's not complaining, it's just saying this wasn't what we were hoping for. It's like giving everyone who plays a 'participation ribbon' and taking away the championship trophy... wonderful and very egalitarian but uninspiring for those who enjoy pushing for the top.

I understand SC's position though. Create a challenge that excites large, thriving clans and you'll leave small, inactive clans behind. So it really is great that a clan with 8 people can collect all the reward tiers with no real effort, it's just not something that's going to get our clan buzzing. Maybe the next one.

A reward in excess of one thousand free gems is ' worst' ?

How is that 'worst'? What do you guys expect? How about a 'win button? :smirk:

This clan game is good for small and inactive clans. This kind of clan game is needed every 30 days to 45 days to make small clans exciting and rewarding. Big and active clans may not like 7 days duration.

Last time we had the big fat prices, two runes for the main village. But when I am closed to max I do not care that much...
Now the rune for the builder hall is really usable for me. Everyone has different needs and wishes. The current "mode" with varying level of prices and difficulties is good and very much appreciated.

Have any of the players complaining about the length of the game come up with a reason why it would be better if we had less days to complete it?

Perhaps faster games = less downtime = more clan games?

For me personally i would like 4 games per month, instead of the current 2 games per month..

My guess is they want to claim their rewards quicker.
I like having 2 games a month - its more relaxing.

I like two games per month also, but it seems to me the games frequency is a different issue. Players seem to be complaining that this game is "too long" and I don't know of anything that says the length of this game determines when the next one will start (other than obviously not during the days of the current game). Given the games don't typically start immediately after the last one ends, I don't think there is much of a connection. Seven days makes this game pretty easy to complete. I'm in a large clan so it doesn't matter to us. We would easily complete it if it was a few days shorter, but it definitely isn't a negative to us that it is longer. Claiming the rewards quicker as Shady suggests could be one thing maybe?
