When is the right time to upgrade to th10?

TH10s gain 90% of the normal loot from TH9s, and match TH10s more often than as a TH9.

I personally have found farming easier since upgrading to TH10--I've found a lot more dead bases up in Masters than I did as a TH9.

I have a mini th10.. i fill up my elixir storages upto max in 1.5-2h boost just using archers at trophy count 1300-1700 from dead bases. I lose most coz i just drop empty the collectors amd leave.
The only punishment in farming is when u go to th11...
Its even easier as a th10 to farm de than as a th9 when u decide to focus on de farming.

25 heros and ax troops will work fine.

I waited until 30/30, about half lavas. I'm glad I did the 30/30. Walls don't mean anything.

But at the same time you'll be fine if you upgrade now... All of this type of talk is overrated imo.

How can you say farming de in th 10 is easier?

I'm th 9 and i can i say its soo easy to farm de with loonions with 2 rage 2 heals and 1 haste.

Well better to say as easy as th9 if not easier, coz when ur done with elixir, you can use a full miner army with costs 0 de.

Never really been called clueless...but hey its your point of view I guess.

You probably need to clarify your earlier statement. Farming at TH10 is easier that TH9......"once you have certain troops maxed at TH10 levels". We have been talking about the initial jump to TH10....not midway through TH10...after you have been upgrading camps and troops. Yes once you are near mid TH10....Th10 is easier....but it takes a little while of pain to get there first. We are trying to help minimize how long that initial pain is. Hence getting L30 heros...when you can loonian with both hero's down and get 2-5k per attack. Th10 it becomes harder to hit with hero's down...unless you are lucky like you and find dead bases with bad layouts.

Also there are a few assumptions that should be made (or not made).....1. You can't assume everyone boosts when farming (many of us only attack a few times a day). 2. You can't assume that everyone hunts for dead bases all day. I for one rarely come across a dead base with any of my accounts...no matter what level I'm at (currently in silver with TH11....farming defensive wins....yes I don't see dead bases there....and dropped to crystal with my TH9...going to drop to gold as I get ready to go to TH10).

Didn't notice much difference when I made the jump. Never had any problem farming de for heroes at 9. I went to 10 with everything maxed except a bk l27. Now queen 40 / king 35. Same army. Gobs, giants, a few archers and wall breakers. 4 healers for queen walk if I need them. It all comes down to personal preference.

Frankly, farming at TH9 is much easier than farming at early TH10. (cause we can still hit th8's, th9s, and baby th10's for good loot). go to TH10 and it's TH9s, TH10s, and TH11s.

Another reason for maxing your heros or atleast getting to 25 and 25...is that early TH10 is very very very elixer driven (TH11 even more so with the GW). You can't really focus on all 3 resources anymore....it's more like find a good base with 2 of the 3. Not having to upgrade your heros for a while and focusing on your lab (elixer and de troops) helps a whole lot. Plus you can still war as both hero's are up.

The grind at TH9 with hero's is the worst in the game...but if you get to at least 25 or if you get to 30...it makes it sooooo much easier at TH10 and TH11.

Also...ignore what people are saying about not building the new defenses. yes it will keep you lower in the list for war (list is based on def weight...not your war weight). But a 9.5....really has the war weight of a mid TH10. So you are helping your self but hurting your clan...making the people right above you face harder people.

I Farm in Masters 2 with a giant wiz army and I focus on de and everything else is a bonus

As a th 8, 9 or 10 at silver gold..u dont need to boost..with royals or barch, most of the bases are dead.
Th11 is a diff situation, still idk how good/bad th11 is in lower trophies, ive been sitting in t2-t3 for around 2 years i think.
But as a th10 u can farm non stop from dead bases at 1300-1700. With level 6 archers/barbarians.
Op isnt a hardcore war player, so his main focus is farming as he/she stated above.
